I started digging a hole with high hopes. That hole was the deepest that I have ever dug for a target. 2½ feet deep and all I got was an old axe head. Aureous Posted January 7 Share Posted January 7 Blackmans Lead at Maryborough. Ive got gold quite close to that. According to Dunn's nugget book, it was found at a depth of 6ft on 15th Jan 1858.
