That looks like the clam flats uptah camp . Your description of what it was like even matched ! Some diggers just kneel down and spread the weight out more . But we've never lost one to the mud. As far as we know.. So, how heavy did your boots get ?🥸 ( if you tried VL's snowshoes you wouldn't have been able to get the 3 steps Ronnie used to sing about every night ... ) .
