Popular Post phoenix
I discovered a week or so ago that the American one dime is 7½% smaller than the Australian five cents I normally use, so I bought one on ebay. I think a couple of bucks is a small price to pay to get bigger gold. Here is some pieces I got on my last outings. They`re way bigger now. 6

To take photos of the small stuff, and unfortunately that`s mostly what I find, I use a USB microscope. If you get one. dont get a 800 or 1000 power. they`re too hard to focus and their depth of field is very small. I took that photo with a 200 power. My `scope only cost 13 bucks but here`s one I found on ebay for 15.
