Norvic
The Pi`s did it now the GPZ, from the VLF to the PI get a signal get down a bit whoa this is gonna be a bigun, not so same with the PI to the GPZ. Disappointment yes but it is bloody magic. Thank you for that JP, videos say it all capture the moment, technique, emotions the works. I`ve been going from low audio smoothing to OFF, but not trying lowering the sensitivity. Certainly give it a shot this weekend.
mn90403
Thanks. Fewer controls on the 7000 but it shows that even a professional could have missed that target if the setting on just one of the controls (audio smoothing) was set improperly. I've discovered a bit of a problem with my earphones so if I can't hear EVERYTHING clearly then the problems can be even worse. There is no visual screen or numbers to assist the ears. Now I think I should also go for a hearing test. Mitchel
Tortuga
Great video. Does John have something plugged into the back of the screen? The GPZ has a socket there, just don't know what it's for.
Reno Chris
The socket on the back which is covered by a cap is a USB port for attaching the GPZ to your computer and uploading software, downloading GPS data, etc.
DDancer
Love the example you've given JP But I could not help laughing a good bit with the Later, Much Later and Much Much Later comments. I look at it as something I'll be doing shortly.
