I believe you can put it in mono and have essentially a very, very sensitive pseudo-mono...in my opinion this is a very good option for the small elliptical commander or stock 11 inch ...both dd I would be more certain but my mind discards information I don't use much...there is much room up there. AussieMatt Posted December 24, 2016 Share Posted December 24, 2016 You can run your DD in mono (as above makes the DD a pseudo mono + more sensitive) & I believe for smooth type timings like enhance or fine gold it's recommended to do so. If you do run a DD in mono the target response will be on the left side of the coil to centre - more to centre for deeper targets & more to left for shallow. Probably not much use if you have mono coils but a worthwhile trick to know if you only have a DD for the 4500. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
