  1. Wow, Bigger is better! Doc, sent me a handful of his new Nugget Stalker, Nugget Stash. These new Poke Holders are built as durable as the original Nugget Stash. I am eager to attempt to fill it in a day hunt, has to hold more than 5 ounces of placer šŸ¤—. Thanks Doc! LuckyLundy
  2. Doc, Iā€™ve used your older smaller model for years and have handed out dozens to other gold seekers through out the Southwest Placers. Thereā€™s been a couple times I wished for a larger Nugget Stash and somehow, you answered! Hereā€™s to fresh patches to fill your dream's LuckyLundy
  3. Mitch, What a Family Trip. Itā€™s one for the books and the Boys will remember for a Lifetime! Safe Journey Rick
  4. Hereā€™s one of my Buddies Poke from a Hunt at Rye Patch. Iā€™ve only found like 3 Nuggets with Quartz attached to them out there. But, he found a little Nugget with a Quartz Crystal attachedā€¦I think he still has it? Rick
  5. Arky, Snowed pretty good last night at my Houseā€¦this current system should move out and bring some nice weather next week.
  6. Arky, always good to see you and your Wife enjoying our Hobby. That old spot I last seen you gave me my 5th nugget for my last day huntā€¦thereā€™s more to many Bushes. You to travel safe. Dig It, ground is damp and just might be more Spring rains out there this Saturday. But, looks great again after thatā€¦you going to be there for a few Weeks? Rick
  7. Another great Winter for Northern Nevada and of course itā€™s still giving this Spring! This is my second trip between Weather Systems this Spring. I decided to keep it simple and hit some sweet spots of old patches with my 6000 with the aide of the little Coiltek Coil. The Hills was alive with fellow Prospectors, we all shot the breeze and caught up on each others lifeā€™s. My first 1/2 day, I scored 5 nuggets and was somewhat content. The next full day, I struggled for the next 5 nuggets before heading back to camp. What a workout! I left with many old spots yet to have my detector combo swing on them and one spot I canā€™t find šŸ™. Well maybe next time on another Hunt! Thereā€™s plenty of space for everyone at the Rye Patch Gym. LuckyLundy
  8. Arky, Main Road is great recently graded with unlimited speed to get to them nuggetsā€¦ground needs a couple days to dry for them iffy signals. Rick
  9. Doc ā€œThe Documentorā€ that group above outfitted the Western States Metal Detectorist! May the 3 Wiseman continue their success in Life and Adventure. Rick
  10. Iā€™ve had the pleasure of meeting countless fellow prospectors on my journeys! Itā€™s always about the Hunt, Friendship & Camaraderieā€¦Oh, and a new Patch that keep the Gold Fever alive. Back in 1979 in Arizona, I had an old timer give me a Pointy Finger to a spot on Lynx Creek, it put a smile on a 19 year old Green Horns face. Iā€™m still repaying that Pointy Finger forwardā€¦it may not be the best spot, but Iā€™ll guarantee thereā€™s nuggets to find, that will put a smile on your face! Docā€™s Photos above was a great hunt! I was digging through my photos looking for the Poke Pictures and couldnā€™t find them, must be in the I-Cloud or lost in the 2 ft of snow in my front yard šŸ˜‚. But, I did find a couple photos of important prospecting gear of his a Hat and Gold Poke. Until the Next Hunt! Rick
  11. Doc, I remember that Outing! And that spot still gives up the nuggets. Youā€™ve been a great Friend throughout the many years. I always have a few secret spots to share the thrill of the hunt! Rick & Robin
  12. Big or littleā€¦they all go in the Poke! Now, I have left tiny targets that I canā€™t fish out knowing that itā€™s Gold to find the next. The GB2 is an amazing VLF and Robin and I have been more than fortunate to have found a few places that you can sit down and just toss your scoop full of multi targets into a 5 Gallon Bucket to pan out later! Here is a photo of my GPX 4000 vs Robin using a GB2 for 2 1/2 days. Them little nuggets are important they fill in the spots between the big nuggets in your poke! Love them all Big or Small. LuckyLundy
  13. Congratulations! šŸŽŠ New Wear House looks like a Store Front. Is that new Lift 4x4? I know a few vertical hydro pit walls Iā€™d like to introduce it to! Rick
  14. Great Tale! Yet, Iā€™m thinking I know that town.
  15. Docā€™s Gadgets and Inventions are unparalleled in our Hobby! His genius has to keep him up at night and Iā€™m sure he has Pen and Paper on his Nightstand to jot his foresight down. Iā€™m happy Doc caught the incurable Gold Bug, I wouldnā€™t care much for living on Mars! šŸ˜‚šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø LuckyLundy
  16. Steve, The best video content would be on the type of ground your Audience would swing for Nuggets on. As we know, different Countries face Metal Detecting Obstacles that another Country affects arenā€™t as severe. Australia Metal Detector settings differ from American Goldfield settings. Whatā€™s the best settings Nenad or Jonathan use in Australia soils are not optimal on my Nugget Grounds. I watch a lot the Prospecting videos on YouTube they beat re-runs of I Love Lucy!
  17. WTG! Loaded up on the loot. Your right that 10x5 is a fantastic gold getter, itā€™s stuck on my 6000. Rick
  18. I have a handful of them and use it on every detector I own, including the Monster after a couple hours swing it. Rick
  19. My Buddy LuckyLarryā€™s little 9x5 coil has been on Fire, since the No-Where Patch Story! We both swing this little guy on our 6000ā€™s. Itā€™s very sensitive and has fair depth, for Northern Nevadaā€™s shallow placers. But, in open Country itā€™s like Paddling your Life Boat in the middle of the Ocean. This hunt we started hitting the old Horse Dung Ridge Patch. Itā€™s a Mile long Ridge that I never swung the entire length only stopping at its first patch. Larry, has some legs Iā€™m about to the end of Horse Dung Ridge I pulled my second nugget about 10 ft apart. I turned to signal Larry of the fast two nuggets and head my way. He wasnā€™t on the ridge hunting the left side as I last seen him. I dug up 4 more nuggets very fast and looked for him again. I just caught a glimpse of him swinging over another Ridge way out of voice range! Back to digging nuggets and it seems like the next thing I know someoneā€™s voice scares the hell out of me. Itā€™s Larry with a big smile on his face. He said, looks like you found a patch as I settled down from the scare of being lost mind and tuned into my detectors sound for the next nugget. Larry, said he thinks he found a patch too and produced some very nice Quartz with ample showing of Gold. We walked back to my Buggy leaving my little patch to hunt the newly named Big Specimen Nugget Patch! Upon arrival he showed me the shallow hole that all the pieces came out of and we set off grinding the area. We swung that Ridge for 1 1/2 days with little joy! We know and inch is a Mile in this Hobby and havenā€™t giving up on this depleted Quartz Vein. Larryā€™s Specific Gravity weigh in for these 3 pieces was over 45 dwts. Mine on the left received and honorable mention šŸ˜‚ But, when Two Luckyā€™s are on the hunt, finding that Needle in the Haystack is possible! Until the Next Hunt LuckyLundy
  20. Steve, Iā€™m thinking they have a Metal Detecting Video Gameā€¦it might just show up under your Christmas Tree this year šŸ˜‚. Iā€™m sure you earned a couple Nuggets being the Camp Cook. All kidding aside Speedy recovery. See ya soon! Rick
