  1. I got my 3Khz fixed the other day--so both the 7.5 and the 3 concentrics will last longer than the shaft now... The elliptical has a different mount and looks like it will hold up.... Will update when appropriate....
  2. Yaaaaaahoooo......Great job Scot!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to remember my password so i can download that tracker i put on your vehicle......hahahahahaa......
  3. Oh my Mitchel, You have found me out- ---- It didn't take long to figure it out--- Now the only one that knew was Chris P. so he is the one with the loose lips!!!--- But to be fair---- I never said I found the nuggets---- I said I lucked in to them. I figured if I played this joke now maybe the fact that I am going to the hospital would get me some sympathy----hahaha The other thought was it may make people WANT me to PUT me in the hospital!!!!! BTW, I thought Fred had me figured out from the get go..... Have fun you all and happy hunting!!!! paul
  4. Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words for the surgery!!!!! Next Friday at 0730 to be exact---- Getting rid of A-fib is the objective---intra-thoracic surgery is a newer way to stop the fibbing.... and then a month or so later I get the ablations done via the femoral route... I am very excited to get this done---I have been losing 20-30 % of my oxygen perfusion due to a jacked up pump system...lolol No wonder I have been feeling so sluggish... Thanking God for the opportunity to get this done.
  5. Just a minor tune up---- cant let Chris P out shovel me------ The 7005 is keeping my busy and I have to have all my faculties in order to keep up with it-- The surgery is because i have to have more oxygen to my brain so i can understand her love language----lolol---- 7005 ------She's the one! Here are a couple of pieces I lucked into the other day......... It was amazing how these came about!!!! What a story!!!!
  6. Thx Mitchel... I have to get some work done on my heart so I can dig deeper!!!
  7. I'm a member, but i am going to have some cardiac surgey that weekend in St. Helenas. I haven't got to use any of the Goldhounds claims yet --- just been trying to settle in on an area we like for the summer.... paul Have fun!
  8. Little Bill gave it up and rode his 4 wheeler to Durango CO last i heard----- probably 2014----- The claim WSPA has and did our push on was his before he let it go.... thats about all i know, paul
  9. Oh my--Good catch!!! I will chang4e that now before anyone goes bonkers...lolol
  10. Yes I have. I have a gold weekender I have used a Keene 151 And I have used NVChris' little puffer in the video... It worked fine.. I would recommend it... They are less expensive and work fine. Then if you come upon a great pay streak and want to process a lot of dirt... You can step up to a 140 or a 151 IMO
  11. Gosh, You'll never make it on 600 a week--you better look into the 7500.... "Overbuilt" for those who are discriminating-------- types ......of people...lol
  12. because the GPZ has truly shown it is 40% plus better, but maybe not better than the 7005. I caught that.....
  13. Road Dog could give some comments about modifying a Keene 151 for optimizing its potential. I saw a few things him and Little Bill did that looked like very good ideas..one was trimming out the box to prevent jam-up on the end where the dirt flows down into the riffle tray,,,,, the others I cant remember, but he could. AND...I had never heard of the wet/dry dustless unit...thx for that info.. I have seen the Whippet "7010 Model"--- Man, all we need is more money to try all this stuff!!!!
  14. Because they blow air into the bottom of the box so the dirt can cross the riffles like water...... I would doubt there is any drywasher that doesn't produce dust..thats what they are supposed to do... just stay upwind..
  15. That's a very broad subject-- you need to narrow your questions down--- Are you running it alone? Are you fast or slow at shoveling dirt? Do you want to be stealthy or is a loud gas blower ok? How much dirt do you want to process a day? Do you have to carry it in a long or short ways to where you will be drywashing. Do you already have a good area to use one in? Brands are brands---- a modified Keene is good, but an electric or crank puffer is better in some places.... Lots of things will depend on like this will have to be answered before you can make a definitive choice.. Generally--- I can't say I have ever seen a real bad dry washer .... They aren't that complicated... paul get ready to dig!
  16. "7005" the wave of the future..... ................. hahahahaha----- overbuilt---
  17. Steve, I would say the point is..... that most are not tuned in to their detectors as much as you two are.... and the some of us haven't discerned the language of, "nuggets within the noise"---- I remember making a post in 2010 about the 2200v---- I was having a hard time with it---the noise was just too much for me---until one day down in Greaterville I hit two good targets and something in my brain clicked------then it was like a symphony Somewhat like facial recognition software--- Or the way your brain can adjust to finding arrowheads in an open field---after you have found a few, they just "jump out at you" -------- you don't even notice you are looking for them... So I suppose that would correlate with how you and GH can pick out the----- "single tree' in the forest.... per se.. Personally, I started with a detector that was a silent runner--a long time ago--Micronta 19.99 RadioShack-----(or at least that is the way I ran it--no beep no dig) I never knew the threshold and the noise deal until I got my first Minelab---- so as bad as I want them to be quiet and sound off only on targets----I know that would mean a loss of a lot of info about the ground I am hunting. I am still waiting on the detector that in it's most sexy woman's voice speaks to me, " "Hello Paul.... good hunting with you today!!! You may want to go ahead and dig this target--I think you may be happy you did.----- BTW, It is 10 inches deep and appears to have quartz attached----- Until our next target." Good day...
  18. John, I didnt get to hunt this ground long due to the mossies voracious appetite for my lifeblood... I had been on the river most of the evening and thought i would check this spot as I was driving out---It is back away from the river under the trees and seemed to be the site of a mossy convention... I did find a piece of pipe about a foot deep, and an auto door shim at 8 inches --- The "7005" did pretty darn good at GB ing the ground on manual or auto---- good enough that i found those two targets while i was running for my life back to the truck... I ran sensitivity at 18 and had to use coin instead of prospecting due to the amount of trash targets.... i was cherry picking for stuff .... 46 is a common number i get that usually has ended up being trash--- tin cans or such.. I haven't figure out how to notch numbers yet properly---- i can get them to reject on the screen but when i go over them a lot of the heavy trash still sounds off in 46, -2,-4, -6, -8, 2, 4 Seems like Zincolns like 33 gold is hitting around 30-40....depending on what type it is and how big it is---- This is where sound means a lot to me---i am already starting to learn the "7005's" love language..... i run on 4 tones ---- it has distinctly different sounds for coins, vs trash and gold vs iron or trash..... pull tabs have been notched out somehow--thank God! Still learning.....
  19. This will give you an idea of the ground I'm hunting
  20. anyone remember Hasbro----- they made pretty good plastic toys---
