Tom Slick
I think its a red lens off a railroad lantern. I used to have a larger lantern than the one in the photo and it had larger lenses.

I was not thinking of that, however that is more logical than a hubcap. I will do a search into my archives and let you know as they did/do have that style on the back of the trains now since they stopped using a caboose. I will get back to you soon.

Since my neck and shoulder has been hurting my eyes have given me fits. Good eye you know your Chrysler’s. Anyway it looks a lot like the center piece from one of these. 1

Looks like you tracked it down! After your response, I looked up just the center cap for the Lebaron, and it is a match. Thank you to all for solving this fun mystery!

Thanks for finding the right year and hub cap, as for a item from a railroad light it does not match any on record. They were close, however they were to large to be the same.
Lemair
To me it looks like a garden light. Certainly not a garden lantern, but I have similar lamps that I installed along a path in my garden. Check if it has diodes on it - garden lights come in all sorts of forms. I also recommend these https://trimthatweed.com/best-yard-torches/ if you're interested in this kind of thing. But if it's not a bulb, then I don't know what it could be=) I`m passionate about the topic of lighting, believe that landscape design cannot be imagined without lighting fixture, garden lights are a cool way to organize the space around the house.
