Tektites From Australia

I have been going through some old photos. This one might interest some members. To get the scale, the gold nugget is about 165 gm or 5 ounces plus.

Those are impressive tektites, with some cool shapes like the dumbbells. I always thought tektites were under rated, but many people don't understand what they are and how they are formed. To think the force of a meteorite impact made these glassy creations is awesome to me, thanks for sharing your collection. ht
