Garrett AT Pinpointer Fix

I was thinking more about your "extra" pinpointer.

(It worked and then after being on the shelf for a year or more ,,,it didn't.)

I'm wondering if the on-off switch may have oxidated contacts...possibly battery contacts too...

IF you can get to the switch and it isn't totally sealed up so you can't get inside.

There is a product called DeOxit D5 about ~$15 for a small spray can. on AMAZ etc.

It will clean and protect those contacts in a hurry. And cure noisy volume/tone pots.

Also great for improving conductivity on things like batteries ,  usb ports and charge wire contacts .

Guitar cords and jacks ,all volume/tone pots , foot pedal switches jacks and battery connectors , cell phones , whatever.

Try it out people !

Serious stuff , possibly even top secret.... I'll probably get hate mail from repair techs for telling you all......
