kac Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 Gave the Apex a quick run at the river banks for less than an hour and found this in some rocks. It isn't a large cent, too small and head seems to be facing left instead of right. 25mm diameter exactly. Coin is thin too but no signs of ever having a rim. Valens Legacy Posted July 2, 2021 Share Posted July 2, 2021 I am looking at my 1 farthing and it appears to look very similar to it in size and the way the head faces to the right. Mine has a distinct rim and is from 1799, so I would say it will be of British origin.
