AlgoForce E1500

Recommended Posts

New kid on the block - AlgoForce E1500 pulse induction detector just released. Selling for $2275 AUD (without coils and battery). Looks like a new company AlgoForce Pty Ltd  based in Adelaide, South Australia (go the crows)- if it works as claimed could shake up the market a bit. Check out their website for specs etc.  Does anyone have more information than what is on their website?

Well, that came out of nowhere, even has USB firmware upgrades.  The price is right too, this is the price the Axiom should have been to really get into the market.,Looks like I want one!

It just runs GPX coils too, there is the Sadie on it.

It has a few patents, one very interesting one, although I can't find the actual patents on a search?

Patents

  • New method for detecting fast time constant targets using a time domain metal detector (Patent No. AU2023900847A0)
  • Metal detector with ambient sound control (Patent No. AU2023900934A0)
  • Handheld underground metal detector with adaptive display (Patent No. AU2023901230A0)

Forgot to mention runs on Minelab SD,GP, GPX coils. Cheap - light weight - pulse induction. Its ticking some boxes - just need to know how good it is in the real world.

Found the patent, AU2023900847A0 - New method for detecting fast time constant targets using a time domain metal detector - Google Patents

It does tick a lot of boxes though, especially the price and the GPX coil compatibility.  Auto ground balance too, and pinpoint of all things?

Best person to give us information on it will be @PhaseTech seeing he's the dealer already...   They claim it has TARGET ID!

AlgoForce E1500 Pulse Induction Gold Detector (phasetechnical.com.au)

Why oh why has he not been on here telling us about this thing 😉

Uncover Gold with Ultra-Fine Pulse Induction Technology: VLF Sensitivity, PI Power, Affordable Excellence!
Designed & Assembled in Australia by ALGOFORCE PTY LTD

NOTE: Coil & Powerbank are not included.

The AlgoForce E1500 is a pulse induction metal detector that excels at locating very small gold nuggets in often complex mineralised soils found in most goldfields. Developed by AlgoForce Pty Ltd, it harnesses patented Ultra-Fine pulse induction technology, which is capable of detecting even the tiniest of gold nuggets. This sensitivity matches that of VLF gold detectors in low mineral soils, but being a PI detector, it has a bigger advantage in highly mineralised terrains.

FEATURES:

  • Patented Ultra-Fine pulse induction technology for detecting small gold nuggets
  • 3-piece Carbon Fibre stem for compact pack down
  • Powered by any portable USB power bank (not included)
  • Patented technology for ambient sound awareness in headphone mode
  • Ground drift indicator - shows when your ground balance is out
  • Wide sensitivity range to suit most environments
  • Stable conductive target ID (0-99) in pinpoint mode even in highly mineralised soils
  • Dual ground balanced detection channels for different sized nuggets
  • Four detection modes - Ultra-Fine, Fine, Normal, Large (Salt)
  • Lightweight (840g without coil or powerbank)
  • Compatible with all 5-pin SD/GP/GPX series compatible mono coils*
  • Coil optimisation function, with five coil save slots
  • Auto or Manual Frequncy Scan (Noise Cancel)
  • Auto Ground Balance reset
  • Real time scrolling signal display
  • Independant threshold, tone and volume levels
  • Adjustable Backlight

Both VLF and PI metal detectors come with their own array of advantages and limitations. The choice between the two hinges on the user's specific requirements and budget. The AlgoForce E1500 bridges the gap, offering a high performance, cost effective PI alternative for users seeking a detector that combines VLF's sensitivity to small nuggets and fine jewellery, but with a Pulse Induction detectors ability to detect in mineralised soils and on beaches.

Works very well with Nugget Finder Evolution coils, but other recommended coils include: Minelab 8" Commander Mono, Detech 8" Mono, and older Nugget Finder advantage 12x7" Mono etc. *Not compatible with DD coils.

Basic Package inclusions:

- E1500  Control Box & Handle assembly

- 3pc Carbon Fibre Shaft with integrated detector stand

- Carry Bag

- Armrest with hand screws

- Standard and Large Arm Straps

- Coil Cable straps x 3

- Powerbank Straps x 2

- USB-C to USB-A Cable

- Quick start guide

There would be a few interesting discussions happening at Minelab at the moment.
