Also, are Garrett detectors just assembled in America? Meaning, are most of the actual parts made overseas?

It would be unrealistic to expect all electronics components to be made in the USA, it sounds like Garrett assemble their own PCB's in USA though, that's about as close as you can get to homegrown electronics in this day and age, like most things in every country, made in "place country here" from local and imported ingredients.

It will be interesting to see if they stick with the curved shaft.

I saw a video a few years ago an Aussie guy made touring the factory and it showed them making coils ,bending tubing pretty much all parts being made,

Yep, there are a few by the Garrett sponsored people or associates/dealers.  Some examples.

They're actually pretty cool to watch, and see it all take place.  I'd love to go to a metal detector manufacturing facility.

Don't worry, that must be the New Zealand Price they've mistakenly put there, it will be $1400 in USA 🙂

From the looks of it, it does all the research for you, finds the target,  digs them up, and brings it back to you. That's a fair price if you don't want to have any fun. 🤔😆

Well at $99,999.00 I’ll have to pass.

Even if you can break it up into 3 easy payments of $30,000???  😉

That would mean a $9,999 discount, enough to buy an Axiom in NZ 🙂 They only do a maximum of 30,000 total purchase price for the spilt payments.

Ah, yes, I didn't read that properly.  Without that option I am going to have to pass up the offer as well   🙂
