Mike, Assuming your are talking about the 3d thing for the Iphone, I can't say it any plainer, it's a scam. It's a piece of s###. It only has enough technology to fool some unsuspecting person into buying it. It won't find you anything. If you want a real detector there are plenty out there that you can find reviews on. You won't find this product at any reputable detector dealer. I can promise you if it was legit, someone here at this website would have one already. It's a free world though and you are certainly free to buy it. Just buyer Beware !

I've had this since 05 but don't remember what brand it is. It's worked well for me. Anyone know what brand this might be? However I'm in the market for a another good pick with a longer handle. May go with one of Ivan's picks.

After Tortuga post I though I would do a search of Walco Picks. It does sound interesting but it looks to be in-line with the long distance detectors that have been conning people for years. It might make an OK walking stick but I wouldn't even count on that.

It's too bad NokMak can't help with the shipping at least when fault is likely theirs and not the user's. The least they could do is make a repair more user friendly.

Sorry to hear that SL Guin's Gold Racer failed as I helped him get it along with another detector and I got his 3030. A good trade for both of us. I know his Gold Racer worked initially as he let me know about some of his finds using it.

Don't know that this is any help but on my only journey though Northern California back on 05, I was half lost and stopped and asked a guy standing in the yard of a home for directions. We got to talking and he noticed my GP 3500 in my truck. It just so happened he worked at a famous local mine and mentioned they sometimes used a minelab PI detector like mine to help locate large gold deposits. He said they located a deposit recently with a minelab finding a 1000 ounces of gold. He said they haven't found a lot of gold lately and a deposit like that helped keep the mine open. Terry

Jasong is talking about the new 17X13 Nugget finder Evolution mono coil. I'm a rookie at this and not basing my thought on personal experience just observation. When you see more (much more) experienced nugget shooters going to these new tech coils and selling their old coils I think it says a lot more than words can say. I'm seeing folks like Rex and Jasong and others giving great reviews either by word or by their actions or both concerning these new tech coils. I doubt it would be good for everyone to dump their old coils and go to these but if one is in the market for a new coil anyway like myself why not get what the best are going to? It appears to me some are also going to larger coils over here. Again based on my observation big coils over here in the past don't seem to have been used as much as maybe they have down under. But these new tech coils though there are smaller ones now, seem to be coming first in the mid to larger sizes originally at least large by US standards. Those using them seem to indicate they are more sensitive than previous large mono's. Jasong's favorite coil, the 17 X 13 nor the 14" Elite are not small coils but reviewers are noting extra sensitivity.
