  1. Interest would go off the charts if they would offer it in the USA .Big possibility here, and thousands of GPX coil hanging in the closet.Get it to the USA and watch it fly.
  2. The Kiwi boys videos are cool to watch, that fellow looks like he busts his hump, there might be some landscape that can be identified. But does me no good I’m in the USA.
  3. The place this detector would fit with me.Couple of ways, have probably 10 gpx coils that would work, the size put in a pack, just to search a bit.If I did hit on a area, then bring in a more capable unit. And the price with not having to buy any coils is a plus.
  4. The nugget on the hat brim is a super cool piece of GOLD
  5. You might look up eagle industries H harness. It’s military surplus but with a little bit of modification it will fit almost any situation. They have some on eBay,there are other options price wise in some research is done.
  6. What ever bungee setup you buy you will probably have to move your attachment point up or down the shaft to compensate for the heavier coil, you can cheat it little by running the length of your shaft in or out.
  7. Between volume in the battery amp and the small volume increase in the Wirefree mate might be enough. If not I use a SPO1 signal enhancer also. But you might not have need for that.
  8. You might go with a Wirefree Mate ,two part unit one plugs into speaker jack on the battery, one you can put in your front pocket, and plug your headphones into it.
  9. Pro-Find seems to go deeper, and reset seems to be quick
  10. 5000 are a great detector ,but you have to put in the time, and training your ear.So many factors that you can find gold over areas that have been pounded, temperature, soil moisture, time of day relating to amount of EMI in my area after mid morning EMI really picks up.Coil size related to all the above factors. It’s a maddening chase .If it was easy everyone would have a bucket full of AU.
  11. Pin pointer for me helps with having not to widen a hole for bigger coils or what direction to dig when trying to pinpoint in tough ground.
  12. Just heat about 1” of tip after sharpening, this is only part that wear is a concern.Heat to a minimum red glow and drip in motor oil.Or for a harder but more brittle, dip in salt water.
  13. Maybe the lakes can hold the runoff without sending to the ocean
  14. Keenes pick with the serrated edge doesn’t look like it would work, but works great and stays super sharp at the dig point.
  15. Did Mick give you a date he might be done ?He has been pretty swamped.
  16. There are two ways to go after depths vs gold size .Though the frequency switch or coil size, then you throw in front end gain.Use coil size for for size and depth,Or crank the front end with a smaller coil and deal with more noise.
  17. This new detector with being light weight, not much money for batteries, and it looks to do well with GPX coils old and new,And folds up small enough where you can pack it in to almost anywhere.Looks like something you’d want to get my hands on.
  18. Hello ,If you want to contact me,I’ve had a level 4 ,5000 since December, first one in the USA,This machine is a lot more complicated than just a one coil and go.I hunt in Gold basin most of the time.Reese T is a good friend.
