Rivers rat Any coin hunter that is in a high trashy area wants a small coil . Why is it all of the detector companies think they know what's best for you. I'm willing to spend the money so can't they give me what I and others want ? The trouble with a big coil you just get too much trash under it at one time. I like to come back with a larger coil the second time around. Chuck

Okay talk is cheap ! What I want to know is just when can I download and buy one of the new coils.? If we are making a wish list then put me down for a 6 to 7 inch coil for the lower VLF's to coin hunt with. Don't get me wrong I do love my eleven inch coil and I know all are most of what the XP can do but the 61/2 will put a smile on my face. I can't say that for my pocket book. If you go look at other coils that's being offered for other detectors then the XP ones is not too high in price.. If I say this often enough I'll start to believe it. Part is true ! Chuck

When I first got my MX Sport and I found out the trouble that everyone else was reporting. My detector made a lot of trips to White's for the first trouble and then the face cover. What I got from White's was always the offer of help and I never heard the word no. The reason I haven't reported anything about the MX is because it's just been too hot here. I've gotten out some but not to the point I really know my detector. On the little time I have used it ,it has been enjoyable. You may ask why I'd go out and buy the XP deus if I like the MX so much. Sometimes I buy a detector not replace another but Just because I don't have it. Us big kids like new toys too! Chuck

Scott A friend had won a nugget at some hunt but I don't remember where. He had put it in his mouth and not thinking it went down the pipe. Later that day he was called up by name and the guy told everybody they need to keep up with him when he goes to the bathroom and why. I don't know how big the nugget was but he didn't get it back. He could took a lesson from this guy on how to retrieve gold. Chuck

1515 Art I thank you for your reply to my question. I'm getting to go out with my XP today for the first time. On the first time out I'll be using the basic turn on and go. I see i have a fair amount to read but all is simple put that even I can understand. Has a price been put on the two new coils that if and when will come out ? I may be able to dig up a dollar are two for another coil. I have the eleven inch one now that I need to get out of here and go try. Be back when! Chuck

My XP Deus shows that I have the 3.2 when I turn it on. What I want to know if I download the 4.0 will I then have six VLF's to hunt with ? What I believe I read the new VLF's will work only on the two new coils. Chuck

I was just reading about the 7 inch Detech coil that white's posted about it. I know on here it's been said it's a DD coil but I find that on White's site. Not one word do they call it a DD coil. If looks says how good a coil is then Detech has a lot going for it. No no no Chuck your not going to buy another coil. It's bad when one fights within ones self. Just think The XP Deus will come today by UPS. Chuck

Tom I do have the 950 concentric coil and I love it. You ask any red blooded American coil hunter and he'd like a smaller concentric coil for coin hunting. Now if I was beach hunting then I'll take a fair size DD coil but in hard rock ground and high trash give me that small coil first time around.. The pins for the MX is different than of the other White's detectors. ( I Think ) I know it is on what I've seen. I don't know why every detector company think they have got to come out with this big coil but if one had the opt. they would take the smaller one.Unless you had miles of beach to hunt and that's all you done. I don't care on how you spell that 7 inch Detech it's still a DD coil and that's not what I'm asking for. For one thing I don't want to spend the money and find out it's not much better than the other I got now. Now I will say this if one showed up at my door I'd test it. Then if i did like it I'd be willing to pay for the coil plus shipping. But if that was not too be I'd ship it back and pay for that. Tell me where else can you find a great offer like that ? Chuck

Hi Tom I have the 5 x 10 DD I haven't used it yet in the gold field but hope too this fall. You talking how good the 7 inch Detech coil is but it also is a DD. I wish is was a concentric coil. What i'm wanting to know is the Detech better coil over over the 5 x 10 ? On the MX Sport I find it has great depth but when it comes to the ID I find my old Eagle 11 is better but I just have the 6 inch coil on the eagle. That is the main reason I want the smaller coil because the larger coil gets too much trash under it at one time. The detector is trying to give you a ball park ID on what it's seeing. I believe every coil has a place in detecting. For me when it comes to coin hunting and that's what I got the MX Sport then give me a mono are concentric coil. I like hunting with the small coil first and then come back with the larger coil. I guess some of us wouldn't be happy if you hung them with a new rope and I'm one. I'll spend the money if you give me what I want but nobody is hearing me. Chuck

Tom When you buy land the mineral rights can go with the land but the seller can hold on too them. I did buy and resale land but I made sure I got the minerals with it .If you don't have the mineral rights with the land then all you own is the surface rights. Having only that then others can drill for oil on your place and you not get a dime out of it.. That is what you call getting the short end of the stick. All you can get is surface damage paid to you. But they can angle drill and don't even come on your place. I'm not talking about a small tract of land like what I'd call a lot as in a city. I known some wells pumping 500 barrels a day. The only trouble was none belong to me. Hope this helps. Chuck .

Fred As time goes by you will need to lower the weight of that nugget you wish to carry out of the hills. Then another problem comes up and that's you can't climb the hill anymore. But until then us give them all we got looking for that big one. You think this nugget is big you should seen the one that got away. That's my line I'm going to say. Chuck

Hi Steven Unless all have been pulled off from the plug I don't see a problem. If taken them off I'd tag each wire in relation to the pin number. If trouble is back in cable I'd take cover of cable back to the point of the broken wiring. I've had to wire in a new relay that had more than fifty wires and you don't make a mistake. Best of luck ! Hi GB If I didn't have the 10 X 5 DD and wanted a small DD then I would buy the 7 inch DD. It's been said if you take the 10 and the 5 add the two then split that number you come up with about the same size as the round one. I'm not saying one is better that the other but I don't need to have two of the same are near the same size. Digger Jones I have the XP on order and may receive it by the weekend. Looking all the video's and seeing one in person that the dealer has for himself it's a great detector. It can do so much for you in the field but the only thing I can see is the stand is worthless. The first thing I'll do when I receive it is make a better stand than it's got. I just can't see why anyone would go make maybe one of the best detectors on the market and have a stand like they do. I put it on the ground and it was sitting on the shaft that runs under your arm and not on the stand at all. Chuck

I have the stock coil that came with the MX Sport and I have the concentric 9 inch coil plus the 10 x 5 DD. I'm very please with the concentric coil and I too wish I had a 7 inch concentric. Like said I have the 10 x 5 DD and it's said to add the 10 + 5 = 15 div x 2 gives you a 7 1/2 DD coil. What I'm saying is why do I need another DD coil that's 7 inch if you do the math !?. Chuck

Well guys I was almost right when I said DEA Agent are Drug Dealer. He's Homeland Security and he's into relic hunting. He goes over to the East Coast and hunts for a week at a time. He has a like new AT Pro that he sold to a friend. The guy had got out about one time with it but then went on hard times. So he gave the guy his money back. I'm back again on stocks. Any time a stock is doing good to great people will start to take a profit. When this happens the stock will go down. You got in when it was high and it cost you to get in plus as we all know it cost to get out as in sell. A good stock will come back over time but that could be a while. It may pay you to look at the history of the stock that you show interest in. Sit back for a few days just to see what it's going to do. Mutual funds now just can't be in one stock because if they did you and them both would be out of business in a short time. Don't just look at that gold stock but do look at the track record of the fund that you may get in. The thing is with stock you can be a rich man one day and the next have a sign Work For Food.
