XP DEUS V4 New Accessories Announcement
Ridge Runner replied to Ringmoney's topic in XP Metal Detectors
I've known to be wrong but I don't see anything coming out of XP Deus by the end of 2016. It hurts to mark one of the coils off my wish list for this year. There is a old saying that fits this and that is Bird in hand is better than two in bush. Oh well good things come to who that wait. No matter what I'm not going to run out and sell my XP Deus. The older I get the more I need less weight to swing. Chuck -

Gpz Finally Got Skunked Except For...
Ridge Runner replied to fredmason's topic in Metal Detecting For Meteorites
Fred Even If I didn't dig nothing but trash I didn't get skunk. I've found some interesting trash. There is nothing about your writing that is strange but the strange guy like me reading it. The Best to you on the next trip out. Chuck -
Digger I now have a lawsuit going right now. I wanted to buy the GPZ 7000 but wanted to try it out before I buy. The first thing happen was I hurt my shoulder swinging it but then they told me the price. Here I am with a hurt shoulder and they hurt my pride because I can't afford it. If that's not enough for a lawsuit I don't know what is. If you feel sorry for me just send money. haha Chuck.

I'd seen the video already and heard all what was said. The only thing I wasn't the one that had the headphones on and swinging the detector. The video was all show and tell but I didn't see anything on price. I just know I like the wireless on my XP Deus and if top quality wireless that be the only way to go for me.. Chuck

Fred Great pictures but what you said has to be a type O. Chuck -
LuckyLundy When I leave home I over load all the time. The main reason for me is I'm a thousand miles from home and I carry a lot of backup equipment. I'd love to move nearer to gold country but I'd have to break in a new wife. Oh well I can still make the drive. Chuck

Not Gold - Not Green Cheese Either
Ridge Runner replied to Rick K - First Member's topic in Meet & Greet
Rick Great Pictures ! Maybe another place we need to prospect but can I get a ride with you ? We may need a 4 wheel drive and I don't have one. Chuck -
Just got my GPAA Mag. today and some must read articles on Minelab GPZ 14 and the new 19 inch coil. Lots of show and tell gold using both coils and how each coil works. You out there swinging the coil on a Gold Bug 2 have a interesting reading too. Both articles shows a lot of that yellow metal that we all chase after. We've had talks about gold pans and how they work. Here we got the Turbopan and as they say a new spin. Over all looks like some good reading for all . Chuck

Depar Dpr 600 - New Gold Detector By XP
Ridge Runner replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Metal Detectors
Rick I hear you loud and clear on what you said. The thing you have to remember is a company is not in business for their health. Just think how much more profit they could add by selling their detector in the USA. I could buy this detector for not much more cost than buying a new coil for the XP. In this way I have two detectors. I can pick up my gold detector and go nugget hunting and whoever could use my coin detector. Please don't bust the bubble on a dreamer.haha Chuck -
Depar Dpr 600 - New Gold Detector By XP
Ridge Runner replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Metal Detectors
A statement was made on MD-Hunter blog that maybe for the low cost of this new detector was to get revenge on Minelab in the gold detecting market. The amount we had to pay on the XP Deus I not sure who the revenge was on. Here I can buy about the same detector for less than half as the XP and then go down load the V 3.2. I don't know if it would let me to do that but I'd try. I'd signed up for their email and one I got in a way looks like I could buy one. Who knows ! I don't plan on that anytime soon. I won't say never because tomorrow I may get a wild hair and do just that. Chuck -
Hey Tom I thank you for the video but I knew I already had a great detector. Chuck
-
Rod You never put a price on a nugget detector! If you do do that you take all the fun away thinking you can get rich overnight nugget hunting. Myself I'm waiting for the price of boot tacks to go up. Coin hunting I find lots with the same date and look like the last. The great thing about nugget hunting is not one nugget is the same as the last. Even better yet is that nugget you just dug up hasn't seen the light of day in over a million years. The exciting part of all of this is it's in your hand now. On my statement about time that was just a wild guess. Haha The Best to you! Chuck

Depar Dpr 600 - New Gold Detector By XP
Ridge Runner replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Metal Detectors
Well what I see on the KHz it will run on is about the same they were going to offer on the V4 update for the XP Deus. I wish someone in the know will please come on here and tell it like it is. To me I'd be better off if I could update what I got now being the V4 would have been free. Then all I'd have to do is buy the smaller coil. The coil they show on the video is a 9 or 11 inch coil and you still may have to buy a smaller coil . Chuck -

Steve I wonder if this is saying the update to V4 and new coils for the XP Deus just went out the window? Chuck -
Has anyone heard a word on the new coils XP Deus said was coming out soon? I'm wondering if what is going on between them and Minelab may put the coils on the back burner. I've looked all over for any word but I couldn't find nothing. Chuck

Hey Peg You got some good looking gold and just maybe you will find more in the Sunshine State. Come back again for more show and tell. Chuck

Gb You are right on on what you said. I don't know if you know but you can up the voltage on the SL or SPP to 14.5 volts and not hurt it. I was able to add one more battery too the 8 pack and that's how I run it. So you can see that's puts it at 13.5 volts. If you can find some recharge batteries with a high Ma will give you more run time. You can find 2600 Ma AA batteries but beyond that most local stores just don't have them. Chuck

GB I stand corrected. I remembered what the last P stood for but took a guess at the first. I think when Jimmy said he'd take on the sell of this PI he'd do it if only if he could put SPP. When I heard he was selling them I ordered one. It's simple to use for a PI detector. Nobody home like me has no trouble running it. Truth hurts don't it ? Chuck

Hi Tom I had to go take a look for myself to that the TDI Pro was gone. I do hope it comes back but super charged . That's a great bundle you got with the MX Sport and others with the TRX pinpointer. I just watch a video of First Texas and about all you seen was nothing. The video of White's we could see hands on with their people making detectors. I could seen just as much of First Texas from their parking lot. Thanks White's ! Chuck

Minelab Files Suit Against XP Metal Detectors
Ridge Runner replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
For White's to give in to Minelab must have been cost factor. I wish they hadn't done that being now they looking at how they can collect easy money to keep them afloat. Minelab would never lowered their price on their high end detectors if sales had been up.When Minelab had buy two of their high end detectors for a lot less money was really buy one get one free. You can go write this down and that is it will happen again. We all know that Minelab at this time do make the best nugget detector on the market. I just wish they'd stand on their own two feet. Chuck
