It always comes back just to you and a gold pan . I love dredging and I’ve done a fair amount of high banking but I find it to be more work than I like . The trouble is when the day is over there’s that gold pan waiting on you. Chuck

The TV just said Bering Sea Gold coming in September 17th if I heard correct on the date . I look to see what day that landed on and shows Tuesday. That can’t be correct because it’s always on Friday. Get back later when are If I hear it again. Chuck

Phrunt I’d let you rub my head and make a wish and they may come out with a PI soon. They have so much coming out the door so I say why not. The reason I said rub my head is lamps with a genie in it is hard to find anymore. Chuck

Jim I’d have to say you were a lucky one. That first detector the BFO I had trouble with it . It went in three times and when they sent me a new one that got it fixed. Then I had the 66 TR and I gave that to a friend when I bought the Eagle 2 . Here years later both still working and never had trouble. When the TDI came out I got one of the first of two hundred. It worked great at first then went south. After the third time of not fixing the problem I got a new one . I wasn’t happy so I sold it . Best to you Jim. Chuck

Hi Jim I got the Sport as soon as they hit the market. The first thing I found out was trouble with the programming that White’s used . I called them up said send it in . I don’t remember how much time had past and I got it back with nothing done. Yes that’s right same program. A dealer gave me another number to call but I didn’t know that it was a distributor . I told them my problem and I must say they very nice and wanted to do anything they could to help me. They said they would have to call White’s to give me another detector. I sent my Sport to them and here came a new Sport with the same problem. This time I made sure I had White’s and again I sent it in . The sky opened up and when I got it back this time it had the new program. I got the word on the forum that the face cover was cracking on the Sport. I made the mistake and look to see if mine was . Well low and behold my Sport had that cracking problem. It made another trip again. The weight is not all that bad but it just cuts down on my swing time . I told White’s the last time I sent it in I told them they could throw it in the trash and I’d take the loss. It’s nothing wrong with the detector but I’d had all I could take. It works great! I guess I lost interest in it because all the trouble I had to start. Thanks Jim for lending me your ear . Chuck

Prunt If it wouldn’t cost me a arm and leg I’d send it to you. The trouble is I need both arms and I know I’ll have trouble walking on one leg. From what it’s worth department that TRX is a great Pinpointer! Chuck

Jeff At one time you couldn’t get me to even think about buying another detector. If it didn’t have the name White’s on the side I wouldn’t even pick it up. I just hope it will come a day that White’s will be number one again. No need to say more. Chuck

To Whom It May Concern . I’ve been around maybe as long as you been making detectors . I purchase my first detector from you White’s back in 1966 . At that time you were selling BFO detectors and discrimination was unknown at that time. That was okay with me being I was young and strong. Oh that detector made me the treasure hunter I wanted to be and before I stepped up to the next White’s detector that one had paid for it’s self . Yes it had paid for it’s self more times than I can remember. I sorry as we get older we start to ramble. My last detector I purchase from White’s was the MX Sport. For over a year it got more air time than I’ve ever had. This was from one problem and then another. I have to say White’s was always willing to correct any problem. The Sport has a weight problem like lots of detectors that’s waterproof in the past . Now that’s all okay in the past but it don’t work today . It’s so many companies offering products that run circles around anything you have on the market . It’s going to be a sad day when the very best detector is coming from another country. The trouble is that’s the case right now. I want to say my next detector will be a White’s but I don’t believe that to be true. I don’t need to tell you what you need to be producing because all you need is look around you. It’s as plain as the nose on your face on what it’s going to take to make White’s great again. Westy 27 Yes the ID could change from air test to being in the ground. You really don’t know what’s next to your target and the minerals in the ground could effect your ID . Now this is just me ! If I was you I’d dig everything until you really knew your detector. Sometimes that trash can be a treasure . Remember if one person has been there they may have lost something . Chuck

Westy27 Don’t give up on anyplace until you hunt it . If you live in a city that has buses then you want to hunt the bus stops. They can produce more than most think they would. You said the house dates back to the 50’s. Then you should find silver there. Don’t give up and keep telling yourself that. Chuck

Dilek I know that the Simplex will come on the market with a large coil. I want to know if a smaller coil be available right away for the Simplex? That’s a 6 are 7” round are some form of maybe a elliptical coil. This question may have been ask before. If that’s the case please forgive me repeating the question. If you ever plan on being in the western half of the US I for one would like to know. I wish like others the best on the sell of the Simplex. Yes you still have time to buy . We know the Simplex is soon to be and hopefully the Vanquish is not too long to follow. First Texas may have another detector on the market before the year is out . What I’m going to give away to the lucky winner may want that person to wait .You may Be wondering why would I wait . I’ll let the prize speak for itself . I don’t know about all of you if you got a email from Minelab this morning but not one word on are about the Vanquish. Minelab what gives with the Vanquish? I looked the meaning up of the word Vanquish and I didn’t find it to be a dirty word. I would think all of us are due another tease like videos you put out in the pass . Good morning LowTide Being we all human and not all easy to deal with.makes a job Stressful. You use the term burnout,well this is something we all have in any job. Dealing with some people on detectors I’d say that Dilek has gone as far as a total flame out . But I don’t believe she’d never show it because she may turn around and someone says thank you. One thank you can heal a lot of wounds . Dilek is working for a company that is not sitting on their hands watching the world go bye. You don’t have to take my word just look at the number of new detectors they have come out with. LowTide I don’t think you have to worry about that Lady she’s got what it takes for the long haul. Hey Lady I’m one that knows how great your service is due to the fact I got one detector defective straight out of the box. I got better service direct from you across the water than with some in the USA . Not one time did you ask for me to pay shipping are did you drop me . I look what’s pre-order like the Simplex and another they call Vanquish is one soon to be . With all the Simplex has to offer I’d never gave it that name . Then we have another called the Vanquish and with a name like that we just don’t know if the name fits yet. The meaning that I like best is to defeat in a conflict are contest . I guess in time the unknown will be known. I have the ORX and for me it’s been one of the simplest to use . More than the simplicity is the like of weight and I can even make it lighter by sticking the controller in my pocket. I demand more in a detector than I did years back due to the fact it would have fell on deaf ears back when. Then I was one of a few but now one of many. I thank you for coming along for the ride and the pleasure of detecting. Chuck

Hahahaha I ask the Simplex question How they do it and Steve gave me a great reply. I don’t know what happen after that but somewhere we jump the track I must say everybody posted their opinion even if it wasn’t on my original question. I don’t have trouble with that because nothing better than a active forum. Not to express your opinion is a dead forum and none of us want that . Chuck

What I’m hearing here that we have too many detectors to pick from . Each detector company all have a long long line of detectors they have up for sale.. Why don’t we just change how detector companies do from this day on . Best Buy list their items as if they had only three items in each line of whatever they offer. Here’s how they list them. Good, Better and Best . This makes it simple maybe for some but not me . If you take a little time and look around you the detector company that has the same thinking is not with us anymore. If I make something new I can’t trash what I have already. I’d still like to make some money off that item . I really need to do so that I’ll have the funds to move forward. I need to keep making my customers happy because I want to stay in business. If I sit on my hands and do nothing them nothing is where I’ll be . Them another detector company will be closing their doors. Some people wouldn’t be happy if you were to hang them with a new rope . I have to admit my thinking has been down the same road as others but I was wrong. Chuck

It’s sad to say you can’t take it to the bank and expect it to be good anymore. Now you would think that you could cash a Post Office money order at the Post Office but may not happen . I had received one and I had go to the Post Office anyway so I took it with me . I ask the guy behind the counter to cash it for me and he said he couldn’t. His reason was he didn’t have enough money in his cash draw. That was the brick wall I came into. I had to deposit with my bank like I’d done in the past . The sad thing it makes it to the point until it clears the bank then and only then will I send you the item you paid for . I’ve sold detectors to guys over on the west coast that cost more than 2 thousand without trouble. When they told me they had put the check in the mail I done the same on my end . They all had posted on one of the forums that we all know. I know one day I’ll get the short end of the stick but I keep chap stick handy . I just done a deal on the HF Elliptical coil from a guy in Mississippi and if he ever needs a reference I’m the guy. Chuck
