  1. Thanks Lunk for bringing up the subject, found a few at Gold Basin over the last few years.
  2. I have placed red tape on the master so I can pick it out right away.
  3. Master and slave, still a valid term, a mechanical term, no reference to human interaction.
  4. Funny, sometimes my WM12 will charge when plugged into my charger in my truck while I am charging the 7000 battery, sometimes it won't let me, the red light will come on when both are plugged in and I can charge just one at a time. Works out ok, just need to pay close attention.
  5. It doesn't look like Minelab offers replacement WM12 batteries after looking at their site.
  6. I have two WM 12's, purchased the second some time after the getting the first. The second WM, when turned, on will not work without the original being turned on, is this normal? do I need to do something different to make it work like the original?
  7. I have been free swinging the zed my last couple of outings with the 14 but I am going back to the strap and going to try the hip stick the next outing. Thanks for brining up this subject.
  8. I like the post grip of my 5000 better than the feel of my 7000 but like someone said earlier, I can adapt.
  9. I have started to free swinging my 7000. Compared to my 5000, it is heavy, but if you can swing both left and right handed, you get used to it. I'm just 5'7, not that strong, but I hate to hear that the 7000 is so heavy that it can't be managed. Please take a different point of view. It can be done, please keep a positive view of your abilities.
  10. Look like petrified wood I have found in Southern Utah. very much the same look and color, not the same mineralized colorization as what is found in AZ but still a nice specimen.
  11. I just received my new Pro-find 35 as I like that it disconnects from the battery and coil when shut off. I had and have the 25 still but have had problems with it. It ran fine for 2 years, but this year after detecting in a hole and detecting something in the hole, after pulling it out, it kept beeping and wouldn't stop until I shut it off, It does that all the time now. It now also is picked up by my detector. That has continued for the rest of the season and is no longer of any use. My friend, that I met up with in November, purchased a 25, removed it fresh from the box at camp, is acting the very same brand new. I though I may have messed mine up somehow before seeing his. Has anyone else have this happen to their 25?
