The Z-Lynk transmitter, as described by Garrett in Garrett's most clarifying way (not) can stand a moderate rain. Is it waterproof.....NO. So if you are going to dunk an Equinox or an AT series detector and use headphones, you better have the wired Garrett, Equinox or proven aftermarket headphones with waterproof connectors.
