A Button Patch

Once in a while I like to hit an old WW2 base near me...nothing left to indicate it was there mostly built over with houses but if you know were to look you can get some interesting finds..I needed to detect for a couple hours last weekend for therapeutic reasons...and I was about to come home with only the 1940 wheat penny then I found a small area on the side of a hill that was loaded with targets...

Nice buttons. Can we get a better look at some of the coins? Someone identified the button with the stars as an overall button for me when I dug one on a beach.

The coins are modern except for

1. wheat penny..which is not in very good shape has a nick in it 

2. a 1952 austrian aluminum coin also in rough shape.

Buttons look like they are in pretty good shape too.

They are...I usually tumble them and they clean up nicely...there not really worth anything
