Valens Legacy
Nice story, but just a little over my budget for Christmas.
geof_junk
Found 1998 at about $300 US an ounce now 23+ years later about $1900 US an ounce. That is about 6+ times increase in pure gold value. Asking price of $4000 an ounce raw gold 90% purity. But it is the second largest gold nugget ever found in the Western Hemisphere, and the largest ever in Alaska. For that money I would buy an Australian nugget of much greater weight. ? 4

With perhaps 5 pounds of quartz (guesstimate), it leaves a US$ value of $364,000. A realistic 'unique specimen' value might drag its value over $500K. But $1M???..... all depends on how much someone with deep pockets really, really wants it.
GB_Amateur
Found "near Klondike"? 500 miles is a pretty long way, even by Alaska standards.

Just think about the mining costs ... before you buy a Bitcoin ... buy this instead. (I've got a lesser Crypto specimen that if this catches on it will go from a $20,000 nugget to ????) You have to think big when you are in the auction and mining business ... with the cost of fuel at an all time high ... ?
