I would love to see a video from some of you using your 2300 in hot ground...just to see if mine is out of whack or if it is just me...

I want to know if mine is making more noise than everyone else's.

I could also let you all listen to mine...that may be easiest....I will post a video when I get back to Reno....I'm down in SoCal today...

Scott, sounds like the Basalt Blues. Have you tried a 5000 w/small coil in Fine gold timing at this location? I have witnessed the 5000 handle Basalt well when it was causing me real problems with the 4500.

Paul, you are rambling. You need to focus. 

On another note Paul, I am finished with my "continuing education" so I returned from Seattle last night. I am hooking up this A.M. and heading south. I should have ten days before I go to sea again. Maybe you can come over the mountain and get a little visiting and hunting in? I would like to try your 2300 out.
