  1. Program ... Park1 really works in the multi-frequency mode: I have no doubt about it....
  2. For these Spectra Ground Probe measurements, set ... RxGain to 1 ... - because the mineralization value you get in the Ground probe is directly dependent on the RXgain setting ... To explain: As you can see in the picture, my low mineralized terrain still has a value of 1-2% mineralization in the Groud probe even with Rx gain = 13 ... At... 4bar Fe3O4- mineralized terrain - at 1/2 setting RxGain = 7 mineralization value of 17% ... W extremely mineralized "black sand" -7bar Fe3O4 I get at minimal setting RxGain = 1 to 16% mineralization ... In practice, this means setting the detector to Rx Gain = 5 and more ..... SpectraV3 goes overload .. But you can work well with the RXgain 1 to 3 ... Equinox 800: The detector does not see mineralization layers - it shows the total mineralization of the given terrain site under the coil. Factory setting of Ground Balance = 0 is very close to setting on ferrite. -high mineralization .. With very variable and varied mineralization, it would I kept Ground balance = 0 If you have places where extreme mineralization occurs, I would use these places to set the right sensitivity and stable Equinox work. If you have salted and also use the Mineralization of Field1, Beach1, Beach2 ... these programs work well on salt and Fe-mineralized soil. Beach1a Beach 2 programs also have a function of overloading my TX performance - to achieve detection stability - during work with a lowered Tx performance, the Equinoxa Triangle Icon is displayed. I'll try to do some tests on pure magnetite ...- how does the sensitivity setting work with Equinox ..
  3. In the Ground Tracking menu, press the "ZOOM / VIEW" button to go to the screen that is in the photo ...: 1.then press the "MENU / TAB" button -to activate the "ZERO" function - on the Autocalibration Detector coil ... Hold the detector coil high above the ground ... 1-1.5meters .. 2. Then press the "ENTER" button, and then place the detector coil on the clean ground ... -Then get the correct reading Phases and mineralization ground in%
  4. Rivers rat....,.... it's a/15kHz/ Golden Mask "C-K"detector - with a 5"spider coil...
  5. Steve .. I like to help, and I'm glad you're satisfied with the Adapter .. I weighed my equinox 800 -6 "coil with the adapter-on the telescopic Golden Mask shaft and weighs exactly 1226 grams ... the backrest which is on the golden mask shaft suits me very well, and according to me it promises a good balance of the detector ..
  6. As you have the V3i Spectra, you could find out the value of the phase and mineralization of your terrain using Ground Probe.
  7. He is a trustworthy guy on his internet site, even in English : http://hobby-detecting.com/fisher-impulse-aq-a-new-pulse-metal-detector-with-metal-discrimination-2019-novelty-first-photos/
  8. Mark.G ....small 6 "equinox coil quite certainly among the most sensitive and also the deepest small coils ... If you want to maximize the range of a small coil - add + 3 to + 5, + 7 numbers of GB to the value you got in manual GB detector in the field ... -that Equinox gets pretty conservative GB to the terrain, giving you deep signatures from good IDs and strong audio signals ... ..another advantage of a small 6 "equinox coil is ... ..-Equinox is incredibly lightweight.
  9. Thanks ..Phrunt ...I edited my translation, I had to hear it a few times-to be sure: .. yes also mentions the Fisher Impulse detector designed for Ground detection,..... and the Impulse Gold detector... Personally, I think Fisher has excellent and strong team engineers...
  10. The guy explains several parameters of the Fisher Impulse AQ Detector: " 1. Working Impulse on Battery-10-12 Hours ... 2.The extra battery will allow you to work within 20 hours .. 3. Explains functions-and also detector settings .. 4. Values of desing detector and coil, also talk about waterproofness. 5. Speaking of the future, the Fisher Impulse, a specialist for ground search, and the search for Gold ... Next, the fisherman comes to market with two more detectors .... new Match1 and Fisher F55 detector ...
  11. Steve's analogy to the Metal Detector with Automotive I like very much ..., ... and is more than apt ..., What are the expectations of your future detector? , include the weight of the detector and its price .....
  12. ....I think Fisher Impulse AQ shows the right way using 18650 li-ion Battery as a power source..for very powerful detectors...
  13. Some metal detectors have separate power to the main electronics where the voltage converter ... and the detector's audio output works directly from the battery ... So the low battery voltage while the detector electronics is working OK, but the audio part is already very weak sound signal ... For my detectors it's TeknetiksG2, and Fisher GoldBug2 .. 9V battery meets the requirements for low power detectors .., and provides another advantage in small size 9V battery and weight -up to 30-50grams.. For heavier power detectors .. and utilizing a large number of 6X-8X AA batteries - which means a large weight of 200-300 grams of battery holder is the use of a 2-3 Li-ion battery quite a big advantage ..- High power capacity ..., ... Low weight ... as well as reliability of work / 2-3cells Li-ion compared to 6x-8xAA battery with large current draw / .. this is a plus ..
  14. The 9V battery is still one of the industry standard heads for low current devices ... The only disadvantage I see in 9V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries is the smaller power capacity of 170-mAh up to max. 250 mAh .Classic Alkaline or Lithium 9V batteries - having 3x to 5x higher capacity energy - 600 to 1000 -1200 mAh. But I believe this difference in power capacity in the near future with the help of li-ion or li-pol technology will quickly equalize ..
  15. If you want to use 9V accumulators that have a true voltage of 9 V-use, use those that consist of 7 or 8 internal cells ...- fully charged I will be 9.8-10V or 11.3-11.6 volts ...
  16. I would take into consideration the Equinox800 and 6 "coil - I think it is similar to GoldBug2 at 6x3" coil... Equinox800: sens 25 , rec speed-4, frekvenci 1f-40 khz..: disk :p. Park2 : 1.5cm-1.8cm.... allmetal:p. Gold2 : 3-3.5cm Gold-bug2: sens10, volume 10, treshold 1/2 to-max.. Disk: 1.5cm-1.8cm Allmetal: 3 cm -3.5cm..
  17. Dan...... Equinox uses a single frequency of 5/10/15/20/40 Khz .... works very much like a 1frequency detector that means deeply low-level ID targets are signaled from high IDs. ..., and the deepest signals go all the way to the iron zone. Sometimes you can use this situation ... and set the discrimination high enough, without losing deep signals ...
  18. Swegin ... I saw her on minelab.forum - .. looks good ..
  19. James, let me know then .. how did you mess up with the adapter ..,
  20. James ... if you want .. try to order the Equinox- GM adapter on this page .., https://www.lovecpokladu.cz/eshop/produkt/set-pro-pripojeni-jednotky-minelab-equinox-600-800-k-teleskopicke-tyci
  21. Hello James, I'm going to customize my detectors according to my needs :
  22. Greetings to you Poul, ....you have nice finds .., a nice pile of silver coins "Kopiejka", "Dienga", .,and 5 Kopiejka- Catherina... Also, I'm sorry for your dog that he died..
  23. http://hobby-detecting.com/xp-orx-metal-detector-review-and-settings/
  24. My theory is that according to Rockwell's C -hardness - HRC-33 - it would point to a low-carbon, non-magnetic stainless steel. .. But it would be better if you were somebody else and more valuable ... Via we'll know when MarkG measures the exact Gravity of this metal...
