Heya Badger ! Anything diggable uptah your neck of the woods ? Been pretty mild here but the ground is solid ,,,except for Saturday when it hit 52* but Sunday morning was like a rock..and I don't mean Bob Seeger . Yeah , I added that IB in after I wrote the GB part , Thought it should be in the understand what it does before adjusting category. I guess that can be said about altering any setting though ... 90403 I've been detecting in the IB zero camp for a while but have been trying different amounts to get a feel for it's use.

What GB or IB settings you use is variable according to what the site requires. More important IMO is knowing what GB or IB does and how different settings change that. Now which setting will melt the ice ??????? I need to GB and IB my car if there is one........😢

Uptah Camp thawed out Saturday ! 👍I got in a few holes. Just here next to my new site at the fairgrounds and only got some junk but I dug the holes with a hori knife and a plastic trowel. Freezing rain and sleet for last 26 hours ......

That other detector comin' down the beach sent you right to that nice gold ring ! WTG ! Beach parking in Maine: Paid private parking at the big beach tourist towns. BUT free after tourist season.... The state parks have a fee BUT free for senior residents.... Lakes , hit or miss finding a spot to park . Free or not A LOT of it has disappeared as old camps are replaced with McMansions that post no trespassing signs... Ask an "old local" for the best bet for free spots, BUT they might not tell ya Chummy ! 🥸 A boat gets you to almost any beach though......yup yup . Parking at Maine Boat Ramps: to be continued LOL🤪
