Nice haul π Finding either of those would make up for a lot of frozen fingers ! For the middle of winter any haul would be nice but this winter HAS been almost tropical, NO ! but it sure hasn't been Arctic ,well except for that one night @-18*. No diggin' that mornin' ! I'm thawed out about 4-5" on almost bare ground everywhere. Guess I should get out there today ,,,got ~12" comin' down the next couple of days π π

New Laws In England On Treasures Found
rvpopeye replied to Valens Legacy's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
π The recent surge in detecting could easily turn into a surge of detectors for sale because of this new designation. If the crown + museums were smarter they would hire detectorists to hunt for them instead ! -

Recommend A Long Handle Detecting Shovel
rvpopeye replied to stateguy's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
I use a small (lightweight) el-cheapo D handle garden spade. All I could afford after getting the T Rex scoop !π€©(also the smaller size one ).I took the handle off a grain shovel for that one .. Could put a long handle on anything I guess , might try one out . Bad elbows make small loads a requirement for me ,,either that or hire a digger !! π€ I know,,,, I should have chosen origami as a hobby ........... ahhhhh nope ! -
A quick estimate of the amount of current the Mcore uses from what I've seen posted indicates that power bank you selected would be capable of supplying more than the detector is using. for the 4 hours you desire. A lot of variables there but I think it will work for you. π ... live long and prospect.

Electric trains !π If I was trying to find ways to produce EMI ,,DC arcing would be in the top 5 ... Looks like you overcame the obstacle ! WTG ! Don't miss that negative low ! -
Too bad about no D , Silver always makes it a good hunt. A paid informant indicated the dime scratch was done by a rogue "night crawler" with a switchblade in a previous mugging attempt. The investigation on that has been shelved because of a very recent report that the victim had been kidnapped and could no longer be found.......a credible witness stated the perp was carrying a strange beeping device,,,,the investigation has been taken over by the state alien abduction squad . Stay tuned for further developments..... π

Gold Rush Camp Heart Attack Moment
rvpopeye replied to strick's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
That's a fine lookin' piece , even if it wasn't a coin.π So many rural places look like that one. Not all have as good a chance for gold though. There must be a gold coin there somewhere. The ground demands it ! That's what ground balance really means , they just don't put it in the instructions ...... -
I have a closet like that too ! But my closet is full of Hawaiian Shirts !π€ͺ Well , just the top half. The old Rat Shack detector and my 800 is in the bottom half with my rubber boots and digging tools. ! I'm working on it......π€
