Popular Post kac
Did a woods hunt, probably last till fall as stuff is growing in fast and snagged an old Chinese coin, guessing 1800's. Put in another hour or so at a school yard and found a lot of nickels others skipped over and a pretty nice 925 silver ring. Machine still runs good, forgot how easy it was to use.
F350Platinum
Like the cash coin and the ring is great. There's a way to identify Chinese coins, you'd be surprised how old some of them are. Awesome! ? that's a lot of pencil erasers... 2

Joe D.
Great looking ring! Alot of detail for a little silver! Post a "cleaned up" pic! Also that coin is cool, never see those my way!? Nice to see the AT Pro out! Need to dust mine off too, as i have the most time on it of any of my detectors! Still a great machine! And the junk always tells a good story on it's own!??

Nice hunt, were you searching an old school for accountants. 1

kac
Been thinking of getting a small coil for it, not sure the 6.5x9 concentric or the 5x8 dd. DD probably better for coin shooting and the AT Pro isn't a depth demon. Coil I used was the stock one I had cracked then repaired.

So much coverage but still seems to separate well. I’ve not investigated what kind of real world depth I can get with it yet but probably as good as a smaller coil with more coverage. Mine is on a Simplex but I bet it would work well on an AT as well.
phrunt
You can identify Chinese coins here https://www.calgarycoin.com/reference/china/chinaid.htm#square hole My Detech Arrow gives me similar depth on my AT Gold as the stock AT Gold 5x8" coil on a coin size target. 5

I have another I found ages ago and will try to find it and look it up. The Arrow coil looks pretty cool, might be a good option.
