Nugget Ring?

Not precisely a nugget ring but a ring I had made for Mrs. Bootscrape from a small parcel of gold nuggets I pulled from a prospecting trip to Tibooburra in Oz..

The gemstone is opal from Coober Pedy.

My brownie points went through the roof when I slipped it on her finger. 😍

I certainly found a great goldsmith, his craftsmanship is top notch.

Yup yup !  Got skills.

Probably a dying breed in this age of stainless and other lesser metals.

(Maybe we should start a list thread of some of the ones still around  for members that want to turn some of their finds into a piece like that ?)

Not a bad idea popeye. If you know any in your neck of the woods start up a thread.

I’m sure a little PR for them would be appreciated.
