Simon,i took your advice and went down the LL Bluetooth option,i remembered that i had a brand new spare set of headphones that work brilliant on my Nox for the last few years,so headphones are reliable i checked on the companies website and they have a LL transmitter which matches my headphones.....so the transmitter and the short cable will be here tomorrow and compared to what the Garrett setup would have cost is well under half the price.

Well pleased that everything is finally coming together with my GPX project,thanks everyone who has made suggestions.
