Cabin Fever
Disclaimer: The following information may cause you to miss something good! If your comfortable with the odds for this style of hunting, it may be of use to you if it works in your area.. Even if only used sometimes when your in cherry pick mode while coin hunting.. 12-13 have been my Nickel numbers in Park 1.. I have been running a little experiment with the Nickel range.. So far I have yet to dig a single Nickel that has flashed either 11 or 14 one time, once the target has been pinpointed and centered.. Not one.. If it flashes 11 even once, after several swings it has been a broken off or rolled up Beaver Tail tab or in one case a tiny crackerjack style kids play ring.. Flashes of 14 have been all slaw, crown caps or anything but a Nickel. I’m sure War Nickels can and will bounce up to the 14-15 range.. This may be different in your area or Mode, so do some of your own testing if this fits your style of playing the odds.. Bryan
