Reg Wilson
Gotta love that dog. Look how he has his head just slightly on one side as he takes in what you are saying to him. He's a beauty.

Guest AussieDigs
Thanks Mopa. The Gold Bug Pro i have is a counterfeit. Being a beginner i have alot to learn. I cant keep the unit quiet enough really. It can detect iron and hot rocks ok and i am digging everything. As mentioned by Phrunt, the copy coils arent the best. Im waiting for the Nel Sharpshooter coil to arrive so im hoping that will help. Im concentrating beyond/between worked ground. Im also working toward a QED PI if all works out. Al.
Guest AussieDigs
Im now a proud owner of a QED PL2. All i have to do now is study and understand settings beyond the Gold Bug Pro. Interesting (great) stuff! I took the unit out late this arvo, made some setting adjustments but im certain i didnt have them all optimised. I found nails no probs but it didnt read the titanium in my foot! To operate a detector without it going off its nut is a huge welcome! Im looking forward to getting more familiar with and buzzing a home grown small companied manufactured unit.
