Ends up being a PIA as I have to readjust the length everytime I do that... Small one but still a PIA that has a simple solution.. When I am out detecting for the day and take a break I put the charger on.. I did manage to make it easier to use the coil connection by shaving off a little of the edges of the coil cover connection.

If you really wanted to make some big bucks, take those concentrates with the dozens of ounces, pay some actors to look like they are shoveling into a sluice and then coming up with pounds of gold. People don't care if its fake. Comic book characters made Marvel millions. A new super hero Gold Miner Man would be a hit only because people wouldn't care if its fake when they only see simple tools, and a couple of guys with pounds of real gold. No one would be able to resist seeing that much gold in a pan no matter how fake... People believe fake stuff all the time and tune in regularly to be fooled by it. Of course, this is all sarcastic. Just thought I'd add to the fun.

Nokta Naming Contest End’s Today
George Kinsey replied to Ridge Runner's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
It would be great to test the new Relic PI in Culpeper Virginia. I was involved in the testing and developement of The Whites TDI. I also Tested for Nokta's Gold Kruzer which I still have. Culpeper has some of the worst minerals on planet earth. I dont make videos anymore so It won't be me. -

Looks way better than a skunk. I'd go back again..🥸 -
Hey Brad thanks! It's a mystery to me how those glasses came out so good. Must have been lost not too long ago. I found them in the water. Hardly anyone getting in the water, so not too many fresh drops out there. The gold coin is a replica. I was tempted to throw it back in but I might be the one struggling to dig it up again some day. lol

The test patch is in an old surfaced area where the ground is quiet. We did some testing in normal but the area we will be in tomorrow won’t allow this to happen. Too many hot rocks and heavily mineralised ground will probably kill my patience. I will be able to keep sensitivity quite high in difficult.

No, no more detectors for me, I'm kicking the addiction, still happy Garrett is doing a lite package though, hopefully this becomes the new norm with lite and full offerings. I'd rather Garrett dropped a few more bucks off it and ditched that carry case though. -

Got yours coming Phrunt? D4G -
That's cool you've got an 8", were you able to run in normal? probably not being in Australia, my go to is Hy/Normal/19 sensitivity with the 8". I can go 20 of course but I just like 19 for the extra threshold stability 🙂 My two favourite X-coils on the GPZ are the 15" CC and the 8".

Just put the 8” X coil on the zed for the first time yesterday. Joe and I took it and the 6 with the 10x5 attached out to our test patch a few hours ago. As Phrunt said earlier, the Zed runs quite well on max sensitivity with this coil (as does the Nuggetfinder 12”) The 6 also ran well with little emi experienced. Buried a few pieces of gold just to get some idea as to what to expect from the X coil. The six came out on top with a micro piece of gold (.045g) and picked it up a bit deeper and with a better signal than the zed. A .3 gram and a .5 gram nugget were also tested. We used the 6000 to test each piece as we continued to bury them deeper until any sign of a signal disappeared. The X coil was then run over the test bed and clearly gave “dig me” signals on both of the nuggets. We don’t take too much notice of this type of test but what we saw was encouraging. If the weather holds up we may do some detecting tomorrow and if we are lucky, a couple of live targets will be compared.

Looks great. One day Nokta is going to be the undisputed market leader for sales of VLF metal detectors, I have no doubts in my mind.

It might have been good to meet you. I didn't want a picture of the gold I saw because some things need to be shared by the owner only. I took a picture of some of Justin's finds as it was part of his shop.

Just found this YouTube video on the Nokta FindX Pro. It looks pretty decent and comes with an excellent selection of accessories. I think its most definitely exceptional value for money!

Garrett Axiom Lite Now In U.S.
phrunt replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
This is a good move by Garrett, plenty of detectors I've bought come with stuff I don't want or never will use like an awkwardly large DD coil, or some wireless headphones. I have a pile of headphones I'll never use that I paid for as part of packages. Cutting back to the bare essentials and lowering the price is great for people like me that don't want the extras. Good on Garrett for offering a great detector at an unbeatable price/performance ratio on the Axiom. -
After losing my gold bottle with something like 10 grams in it I quickly learnt not to use a brown pill bottle. JW helped me find it in the dark late that night with torches I then wrapped red electrical tape around that bottle to make it stand out more but you guys have far better options than I currently have. I have one of Docs little gold storage yellow rubber like folding containers which I haven't given a go yet, I should give it a try. I like the idea of bright yellow or orange, something not a natural colour in the gold fields to make it easier to find should I lose it. That wasn't the only time I'd lost my gold bottle, I also lost another clear one another time with a few little nuggets in it, had I resolved it that time I likely would have found my 10 grams far easier. Slow learner.
