I was just watching a Deus video and this guy dug up what he called a crotal bell . The is it looks something like what we been looking at here.

I have a couple of Crotals Ridge, I suppose they are similar in shape, however there is no clacker inside. I suppose it's possible it was iron and rusted away.

I googled it up and found they come in many different sizes.
