  1. Virgin Valley, NV has some of the rarest and most beautiful black opal in the world
  2. I just got back from the 16-1 mine. Went there to see if I could score on some good material. Dave informed me that they just hit a 50 OZ pocket. Was not their well know "A" grade because of the arsinopyrite and not pure white bull quartz. Some was certainly good enough. The most interesating part was that they just bought a GPZ and credited this find to that detector. He also said that they blasted out aother strong signal, but have yet to muck it out. I sure hope its full of "A" grade........ Guess they paid for that detector with just one signal.......They are looking forward to finding much more with the GPZ. Only complaint was the weight and having to use it up walls and overhead.......
  3. I figure that since I can find gold then I must have a way to sell high...... learned to make high quality jewelry and poof I can sell very high. My sell market right now is hovering at $2K/OZ. Problem is my supply is not keeping up with my demand.......damn crazy circle. I just need to stop production and increase finding... and soon that will happen again. In reality, I don't care what the price of gold is, I can make my own market
  4. Good on ya, but post is certainly needing a picture or two.
  5. My spot locator worked perfect on both my trips to Brazil, even under thick canopy.....
  6. Thanks for all the replies. I did not realize the difference in frequencies. I have an opportunity to trade my GB Pro for two original GB's. I trhink I will keep the GB Pro. Klunker..... Indy Hill has been on hold for a bit, was gone most of the winter and returned to very busy times.... soon to be continued
  7. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two detectors?
  8. Check this out http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/jwd/4936554225.html
  9. I vote for a smaller could also, but for much different reasons. I have two metal knees and the stock coil and my knees would make for an impossible combination. If there is ever a chance of me getting and using a 7000 that is the only chance I have.
  10. I stood back and watched him give prospective customers a lesson. They were amazing, absolutely zero interference from all the iron in the concrete floor and other steel in the building. They seemed totally immune to EMI. It's got to be the next big thing in metal detecting
  11. I sent a letter of protest to my Congressman, Tom McClintock. He is definitely pro mining......
  12. I am curious about this new type of coil. The previous mono had a cone pattern, the DD had a blade pattern what kind of pattern does this new technology have?
  13. Is there going to be a prize for who guesses right or can you let us know the mystery answer? That being said, you have made a good point, it is not always easy or possible to do ID's from just pictures. What does a scratch test show? Can you scratch them with a knife? Do they react to vinegar? Yup. More info is needed
