  1. I second this scoop!!! Have been using two of these for over 25 years. Just keep up and re-weld any small cracks that start!
  2. The Equinox is a great machine when it comes to small gold and chains. Our testing of the Manticore did in fact show it beat the Equinox on every target we tested. In some cases, the detectable depth on chains was double. The Manticore is a chain killer!
  3. Plenty of large non-ferrous targets. One would think there might be more there! Good Job.
  4. I cannot stand Beach Pitch. Never will use it again. Too many problems with wrap-around Iron tones.
  5. Chains are a big part of my finds where I hunt. I would not be willing to do a program trade that has difficulty with chains.
  6. Any thoughts or advantages to using the Relic Program??? Why, what is better?
  7. That is a decent amount of jewelry for a day's hunt. Regardless of what the mix is!!! Good work!!!
  8. Awesome, fantastic finds!!!! Great job!!!
  9. Only if you can run the same sensitivity. Which I think is referenced. If you are at three points or more of sensitivity difference, then Beach 2 is the clear choice. I know this to be true as I cannot hunt my location in Beach 1.
  10. I sense someone has been bitten by the beach bug. The only cure is more beach detecting!!!! Nice find, congrats!
  11. 30 seconds for each pull-tab. You are a ROCKSTAR!!!! That 30 seconds might be a little conservative. [for me]
  12. It is possible!!! The Equinox does a great job of isolating most Pulltabs to a number. My region it is 14. When I have pulltab conditions I skip 14's. Also if one was to look at many ring charts very few gold rings drop at 14 on the Equinox. GREAT finds btw!
  13. Outstanding>>>I like low tides!!! Getting fired up for my winter season!
  14. I do not know why the Equinox is so good at this? It is not only nails, but round targets as well. Where I hunt there are coins with a ferrous and non-ferrous mix. I can identify them at fringe depths 95% of the time. It is not only the double beep, but also the breakdown of response. It is a two-prong approach. For those fringe targets that do not double ring, they might have a serious breakdown of response in a 360 degree look. Non-ferrous targets will NOT have a breakdown of signal response on a 360 degree look.
  15. Can't remember it I ever had a three-gold ring day!!! Outstanding!
  16. I only beach and water hunt and never use the pinpoint button. Just a waste of time. With some practice of X-ing the target, recovery is easy on the discrimination mode.
  17. However, I understand new generations. 🤪 If rocky, hard shell outside would be my choice!
