Part is LP-904085 3700MhA 3.7v Dimensions: 85mm x 38mm x 10mm Only place I could find them was on Aliexpress that had that number and size. It seems that the same part number comes in different proportions. Good possibility this particular one is discontinued. Other option is to see if I can run the unit without the internal battery and use the external pod only. Might need to put in a jumper on the connector but don't know.

Actually made it a couple of years ago and changed the foot cleat up and put a t handle grip last year. I'll give you a hollar if I make a couple more, pretty happy with what I got now but want to eliminate some welds.

Been using my own made over a year ago. Weighs under 2 lbs, has a flush back so it doesn't hang up in the hole. Also have couple root cutters on sides so it doesn't kick out when stomping. Root hooks work great to snatch vines and cut them out of the way. May make production models down the road but need to tool up better for that. Heat treated 4130 with fiberglass pole.

I believe it's a common wealth mass colonial. Figure on front and barely visible eagle on back. Couple slightly better pics, first is i believe the front. Guess I'll have to go back and find a better one...

Found this on a permission hunt today, want to try to id it if possible. Could be colonial or late 1700's. Size is 2mm X 28mm Sorry I don't know what is front or back, couple different angles if that even helps at all.

What we don't know is what the settlement was between FTP and Quest. My guess is Quest pays a royalty to FTP. I have seen this with between Formlabs and 3d Systems. Oddly Formlabs was having their machines made in China and marketing them as a USA made. Clones started to show up in the USA and wouldn't be surprised if this is the same scenario. I'll sit back and see how they perform when released. Not passing judgement until product is out.

Your biggest concentration of coins and jewelry will be where there is the most activity. Small coils will do best for separation. 6" or 6x9 will do really well in those areas. Use a hand digger or probe. Ideally you should cherry pick the silvers first as they are the easiest then do some passes for the lower conductors. If it is a local park you can access often, try to do your hunts before they cut the grass. Those mowers suck up a lot of stuff. Older parks you can do some research and see if the layout of them had been changed over the years, might have had trees that are no longer there.

I been using piece of bamboo instead of toothpicks. Hold up bit better. I happen to have scraps from my rod building days but pieces of chopsticks would do the trick too. Just pick at them to get some the crud off. Most the old coppers here are just blown out from the ground, some have some detail. Just don't pick at them too hard. Really rare stuff like the old colonial a buddy found you just don't do anything to. Best to leave them as is.

Gold has filler metals especially rose gold that has a high copper content to give it that rich color. Pure 24k would be too soft for most jewelry. Many high end thin designs use 10k not because it costs less but rather it is more durable. Always good way to check if the stone is lab grown or natural is to look for inclusions inside. Lab grown stones have none, natural do. Even the highest end diamonds will have a bit of dirt inside.

Casting parts can be pretty pricey. Process isn't tough but consider platinum silicone for the mold, mold release and the urethane rubber or plastic you can easily drop $100. Looks like you did a good fix, not pretty but functional and thats what really counts.

Have a spot around the corner from me that was a late 1800's amusement park then it was a race track until a fatal accident then became a sandpit and now a bunch of ball fields and park. Figured I would see what was in the wooded areas around the park before things freeze solid here. Found this 1940's St Chris visor pin. Never heard of visor pins until I found one. Might have a chance at some old coins but there was a lot of dirt moved around. Fields themselves are all re-loamed with typical trash line about 6-8" down and sprinkler system to dodge. The little things that keep the hobby going.
