  1. Merton, I have not been able to find that form yet still got a storage shed and my garage to go through but it's not in my house or office files.
  2. Yes i remember it and even had a copy and most likely still do if i can find it, since i have not been able to come dredge in California since the ban i stashed it with my last permit which was for 2007, now if i can dig it up i will post a copy .
  3. Very cool that you still have a piece of 19'th century California history that your ancestor found some thing great to pass on into the future. Roaring Camp is a nice place ,it was fun to just go down in there and spend a week sniping the river and finding gold.
  4. I know when i called Chris at AZO i got the ferrite rings for myself and my brother very quickly,he like Rob had the rings early and sent them out 2 day mail.

  8. I'm sure the weather has some effect on a detector but i seem to only notice it on the days when the EMI is bad.

Nugget, i had a eureka gold and it was a good machine in fact it was the first true gold detector i owned it found many times it's cost in gold even trained several friends how to detect with it, just this past spring a buddy who owns a 18000 that has seen better days bought it off me to use when his 18000 does give up for good.

  14. Nice job, got a 7.5 coil with the same condition.Was thinking of using some fiberglass to repair it, your way would be faster.
