mn90403
Minelab has opened an assembly plant in Ethiopia! https://www.journalducameroun.com/en/ethiopia-gold-detector-devices-assembly-plant-launched/
Lacky
"Al Hilali Group General Manager, Amged el-Rashid said the price for the different models of the detector devices ranges from $2300 to $12500." I'm always confused. When an Australian company, in Africa, partnered with Dubai, lists a price what currency is it in?

So that squelches the rumor that Minelab is phasing out the X-Terra. Or maybe its going to be a limited release market for African fossickers. But if the Vanquish doesn't have a gold mode there is still room for the X-Terra in their product line across the globe.

Reg Wilson
Perhaps Howard should be aiming for the African market with the QED.

Reg Wilson
Jin, check my PS on QED update.
Jin
Yes, that would be a good next step having someone else manufacture the QED. Would allow much more of his time to go towards R&D.
