phrunt
No, they have no line input. There is now an alternative to the Torus too, the Ohm brand makes a certified aptX LL neckband, it may be better, looks a better construction for outdoor use without the cloth all over it like the Torus. It's available at Walmart, however no line input either. Aureous
The Ohm product is not on Qualcomm's list, so it may just be Chinese BS, not low latency at all.... Qualcomm APTX LL Headphones list

Ah, they're listed on the 'portable speakers' section, not headphones.

phrunt
They're not aptX LL so they will have a fairly noticeable lag when detecting targets if you were to want to wirelessly connect, atpX LL is a fairly obscure audio technology not widely used, but "was" used in detectors and their headphones prior to being discontinued/superseded as it had a suitable latency (speed) of audio so when you were sweeping over targets the sound matched the target location as accurately as possible, the higher the latency the more likely you'll struggle to find targets accurately. Now with newer model detectors Minelab have moved off aptX LL seeing it's an older discontinued technology, for example the Equinox 900 now no longer uses atpX LL but the 800 does. In your case you're intending to plug in with the line input so doing that this neckband you've found will be fine and have better latency than the aptX LL anyway by now even using wireless. They should do suit your purpose fine.
phrunt
I learnt something with the Avantree Torus the other day, I've had difficulties with mine since the start, mainly with crackling audio but sometimes it just seemed unstable with the audio, I used to do things like turn the detector off and on to reset the Bluetooth, or turn my transmitter off and on to try fix it, never did do much in the way of solving it. The other day my Torus was having a sound like a horse galloping though it when using the Avantree transmitter on my GPZ, and the Torus. I thought it was my GPZ but when I went to using the WM12 it had no galloping sound, so I tried unplugging the transmitter, turning it off and on and the sound was still there, turned the Torus off and on and bang, fixed. Later in the day when it started playing up again with a bit of constant crackle I did the same, just a quick off and on of the Torus and it cleared it up again. I wonder if it scans frequencies when power cycled to find a clean one, or something like that.
MSC
They pare up just fine, mine work great. Like the fact that I could still hear a rattler if one was nearby or hear my buddy if he called me.
