Now if you can just find the clasp for them would be really amazing.

Great job on making a set and that will be a nice gift to someone.

Thanks VL, The clasps or earring backs are readily available on-line and at many retailers. I could have purchased a genuine pair of silver Tiffany earring backs for around $40 but opted for a generic set of sterling silver backs for only a few dollars.

They are quite small and would be a challenge to find with a metal detector. Even if someone were to find one they may not recognize it for what it is. Some sets in gold or platinum sell for hundreds of dollars and even a single earring back is coveted as a replacement for a lost one.
