For the Aussies Phase Tech has the Nox 900 in stock ready to roll

For some reason the testers / youtubers aren't willing to say anything about what audio these detectors have, they just don't respond when I ask.  As soon as it gets into a regular users hands we will know.

I liked the Iron bias in the Iffy Signals vid.  Above ground i know but if it (900) can knock out rusty caps and small wire nails in the top few inches on a lower setting wouldn't it open up deeper good targets?  Any thoughts on under the hood improvements over the 800?

One of my customers upgraded his Nox800 for a Nox900. Wanted the new shaft set-up and a new warranty. I got to put it together for him, and we had a bit of a play with it. The shaft is awesome, as is the push button sliding armrest. Handle feels better than the 600/800 handle. Backlight looks great as does the backlit keys.

The audio sounds exactly like the previous Nox's to me, but I haven't done any critical listening through headphones. The dP (depth pitch) option is different though, which is basically like the VCO audio modes on other machines. Always loved that for either focusing on shallow recent drops, OR ignoring shallow junk and listening for the mellower deeper targets. Scrolling through the menu is the same as the 800.
