 I knew this guy is home burned down to the ground and it was on cedar post it was nothing left of them either. This guy had coins in fruit jars all over the house.Me and another guy was trying to find what we could for the owner. The coins we found had the shape of the jars but the glass was gone .The coins had fused together taking the shape of the jars they were in. 
 The guys wife had put her wedding rings in the window above the kitchen sink and they were still there when the house went up in flames. The guy I was working with knew about where the sink and window was so here we go with a shovel full at a time looking for the rings. We did find them but both rings looked like they had been eating popcorn. The heat from the fire caused this effect on that white gold. The same will happen to coins if in a fire long enough.

From now on, I might have a better look at all the damn pennies I find, instead of directly tossing them in my trash pouch!
