The famous Alaskan, "bear ate my plane" story... This is a funny story...unless you were the owner of the plane!!!
Rob Allison
Hey Guys, Alan in Australia was making me the SDC covers, which were high quality. He is also making some GPZ covers, but did let me know he would not be making them for the US market at this time due to time involved. I'm sure he wants to prospect a bit with the new detector rather than sitting around making covers for a small profit. I appreciate him letting me know, so that is the latest on the GPZ control box covers. I purchased a nice cover for the GPZ screen on Ebay and received it within a few days. I tried using a CTX one, but ended up cutting a good portion of it out and it didn't fit right and allow you to push all the buttons on the screen. Sourdough Scott
When is bought the sdc2300. I didn't have a cover at first. So I bought some 4" wide Gorilla tape, self sticking Velcro, and the non slip rug underlayment. It worked very well. Wasn't the most beautiful (like Klunker) but very effective in protecting the machine.
