Bit of an update on my issues with the 11 mono. After 3 trips where I could not use my 11 mono I ended up sending it back to minelab and getting it swapped out for a new one. I just knew that something was not right. Minelab sent me a new coil and I  tested it on the fields yesterday in the same spot that I was having troubles. What can I say the new coil they sent me runs like a dream!! Super smooth. No falsing and I even found a small 0.2g bit of crystalline gold at around 4 inches. Thanks Minelab!

Quite good that in addition to machines that they have a few replacement components as well.  They certainly learned that parts are important too.
