Happy_Hour Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 I have this coil that I use on my Teknetics Turbo ( Tek Turbo ) with an adaptor for tot lots and the like. I see on a auction site there is a Goldfoot coil listed with a black box attached to the coil wire. The one that I have has no black box. Does anyone know the purpose of this box. It's not always clear that these are necessary (or even help). You can buy them for ~$1 and attach yourself. I've tried this before and it didn't improve things in my case. It may also help to minimize the interference generated by the detector (that might bother other nearby devices, particularly other detectors).
