  1. In Central Europe there are coils for Vanquish available for sale ... coil price is: V8 = 104 euro. V10 = 127 euro V12 = 138.50 euro
  2. 👍Thank you for the answer Abenson ..... I know that these are the conditions from a very strong salinity environment..such more than... the salinity of the sea....
  3. Abenson ... do you see any noticeable difference in the work of the Vanquish detector programs ...on the Great Salt Lake detecting? ... ...And which program do you prefer in such conditions?...
  4. JW...... I would like ... if you were to continue to contribute to the X-coil thread ... with your rich gold prospecting experience ..., I know that you try to use the detection equipment of what works best for you ...
  5. Stephen .. I'd be very careful about buying such a detector .... especially when you look at other long range detection products ... that it produces .... even if the products look like Hi-tech .... doesn't mean they really work ... pay attention to what you are buying ...
  6. As you can see programs gold 1 and gold 2 are multi-frequency ... EQ 800 program Gold1 EQ800 program Gold2
  7. Multifrequency Vanquish 340 contains 4 frequencies : 7.8kHz, 13.4kHz, 18,7kHz and 39kHz ... ....regarding the sensitivity of the Jewerly program on Vanquish 340 and V10coil. versus the Beach 1 program on Equinox - in the airtest, and certain predominance of the Jewerly program / Vanquish / within a range of 0..1grams of gold 11cm/vanquish/ and 10-10.5cm /Equinox/. I also see the Vanquish 340 increased range to 1.15 grams open gold earrings with a range of 13.5cm ... compared to the program Beach1 / Equinox / there is a range of 11cm .. Equinox I have for sure .. tested on 11" coil / sensitivity 20 / and also 6" coil / sensitivity 22 / but I got about the same reach on the open gold earring which was 10.5 and 11cm .. Vanquish with a range of 13.5cm has actually increased sensitivity to ... this type of conductivity of the object .. the coin size objects no longer see this difference ..
  8. I made a scan of the Vanquish Tx signal using an oscilloscope and I can say that it is very similar to the Beach1 program of Equinox. Vanquish Tx Jewerly program Equinox Tx Beach1 program
  9. ..To make it very light ... and yet a well balanced detector on the 11 "Equinox coil / 510 grams / ... is not that easy .. because the weight of the 11" coil // 510 grams and the weight of the middle and lower rods / total 200 grams / already on the start limit the correct balance .. if Equinox offered a 9 "coil ... weighing up to 400 grams and 2-piece construction of the upper and lower rod ../- 100grams / then the balance of Equinox would be excellent .. note that each treats Equinox on a small 6 "reel (300grams) as very easy and well balanced....: In the picture is...Equixox, spectra V3 and Teknetics G2.. : 1.Equinox on telescopic rod :..... metal armrest.. and the heavier upper part.... of the telescopic rod tie Equinox well balanced on the 11 "coil. 2 .. Yes ....Whites Spectra V3.... is very well-balanced and also lightened by replacing the accu-pack NI-Mh... for a lighter- but stronger Li-Ion pack.. / -180gram less / .. Whites Spectra V3... design allows very heavy 13"-18"coils/680grams-1030grams/to be used with acceptable balance... 3 ..Teknetics G2 modified 2-piece rod /upper part from Equinox+ longer bottom carbon rod/-also is -150gram easier and better balanced .. not only on standard 11 "coil but also on 13" ultimate coil /530 gram coil/.. My personal opinion is that the S_classic desing rods works very well only with a certain coil weight .. / max 400-maybe 500 grams/ .. after that is better straight bar ..
  10. Vanquish340 even at its low price can be quite light and compact ..
  11. Thank you ... for explaining LE.JAG .... I think ... when the manufacturer devotes a little more time to fine-tune the Top pulse detector, or its final production it's just a good thing ..., Finally, everyone wants to buy for their money ... the better tuned Detector ...
  12. If this is a better detection when sweeping the coil up above the ground on very deep Equinox signals, this allows for a low recovery speed of 2-3 .... on low and medium mineralized terrains. ,,,....but in very strong mineralization when you have to use recovery speed 6-7 it will not help ....- there Equinox likes low sweeping coil over terrain ...... For example, from my observation with detector Fisher Gold-Bug2 or Deeptech Vista Gold Gain on strong terrain mineralization ... it will actually help improve detection .. when you sweep the coil up 5-7cm above the terrain of heavily mineralized terrain .. Speaking of testing....so for testing I use a low to medium mineralized test field..with a very deep storage subject at depths from 4 "to 15" .. Next I use 2 outdoor test boxes 350 liter "Liapor" box 4bar Fe3O4 = 0.4% magnetite ... and 60 liters ´ "BlackSand" Box 7 bar Fe3O4 = 4% magnetite .. Finally, to quickly check and compare the ability of detectors and coils to handle mineralization using 3 compact test BlackSand boxes with extremely strong mineralization of 4.4%, 12% and 33% Magnetite content .... 350 liter -4 Bar Fe3O4 "Liapor"= 0.4% Magnetite ..test box --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My test field.. low and moderate mineralized terain.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For comparison 4.4% Magnetit mineralization = equal to 7bar Fe3O4 of very strong iron mineralization as measured by the Teknetics G2 detector. Old 40 liter Black Sand box= 7Bar Fe3o4.. =4.4% Magnetite mineralization.. 3 kilograms pure Magnetit... in new 60 liter Black sand box..=7bar Fe3o4 mineralization.. Equinox 800, Vista Gold Gain 30khz.... and Teknetics G2 testing ..im Black Sand../standart coils/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tesoro Mojave testing 7" CC concentric coil contra 6x8 " Sef DD coil in 4Bar Liapor test box... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Testing Compact Black sand boxes 12% and 33% Magnetite.. Interestingly, this compact 33% Black sand box / = 7.6kg black sand / ... contains 2.6 kg of Magnetite !!! Thus, testing on the other two Test Boxes of 12% and 33% revealed all good and bad detector setup or coil properties.
  13. My observations and tests show that Equinox alone 1f frequencies work with substantially reduced TX performance (about 1/10 Standard Tx) -a similar to the reduced Tx performance in Beach 1, and Beach2 ... and Tests even confirm that under certain conditions1 frequencies 5Khz, 10.khz, and 15khz, I will be more resistant than Beach 1 and 2 programs with lowered Tx because Beach programs contain frequencies 20 and 40 khz - .... which will be unstable under the conditions of the strongest mineralization. And this is a disadvantage in other multi-frequency programs in Equnox .. Park, Field and Gold .... these programs already on the highest mineralization (33% magnetite) can not stably and properly debug GB .... For comparison .... Multifrequency programs Park, Field, Gold I will work stably only up to 12% magnetite mineralization ,,, and 1Frequency programs 5Khz, 10khz, and sometimes 15khz, I can work stably up to 33-40% magnetite mineralization .. Of course ... count on the smaller depth range ... so maximum 50% -60% depth .... but the detection is stable .. 1F separate frequencies 20Khz and 40Khz I will work well to 12% mineralization ... for example at 40Khz, and high sensitivity 23-24 .. in the program Park1..I have no problem detecting 1.15gram open gold earrings in at a depth of 4 "´ = 10cm ... under 12% magnetite mineralized by "Black sand" test box.. : --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But 1F frequencies of 20khz and 40khz will no longer work steadily on mineralization of 33% magnetite ..- and that's the problem with all multi-frequency programs in Equinox-Park1, Park2, Field1, Field, Gold1, Gold2- because they also contain frequencies of 20 and 40 khz. .. 1F -15khz frequency is also slightly less resistant in 33% magnetite mineralization, but it is more resistant than 20khz and 40khz frequencies. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It would be interesting if the minelab of Equinox could create a "multi-frequency program" for extreme mineralization ... containing these 3 more resistive frequencies 5Khz-7.8Khz-13Khz .. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We recommend everybody to test and compare how extremely 1F 5,10,15 khz frequency works in combination with recovery speed 6-7, low iron bias setting and Discrimination set to 0, + 1 or more .. You will be surprised how strong mineralization Equinox can manage ..
  14. In high iron mineralization you can also use 1F frequencies 5Khz ,10Khz and in some cases even 15khz khz, because: ... 1F separate frequencies at Equinox work with significantly lower TX power /=1/10 normal Tx/- which will work similarly ... or even better than the Beach program ... Explanation ... commonly multifrequency programs Park, Field, Gold also contain frequencies 20 and 40 which are more sensitive to strong iron mineralization ...- so these multifrequency programs will work well and stable only to a certain degree of iron mineralization terrain ../to 12% magnetite mineralizacion/ So in case of poor stability of multi-frequency programs/in 33%magnetite mineralizacion/ or their use only at low sensitivity, it is better to use a separate 1 F frequency of 5Khz, 10khz or 15khz.: 1F frequency -5Khz -sa excellently used to detect highly conductive coin-large silver ... 1F frequency 10Khz - will be more versatile and will adequately detect high and low conductive Items. 1F frequency 15Khz is most universal for all types of conductive objects, but may be less stable in some cases of extreme mineralization,/in 33% magnetite mineralizacion / ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1F frequencies 20Khz and 40 Khz/Equinox800/ no longer handle the highest mineralization ... but in terrain where I can still work stable I will have excellent results on low conductive targets.../to12% magnetite mineralizacion / ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use individual1F frequencies in combination with recovery speed 6-7, and Iron bias to low..and Discrimination to 0,or better to +1and more....- which appears to be the most effective in strong mineralization.
  15. Redneck is a good reason ... Aka Intronik ... I recall only the most Aka detector users in Russia today, but I think the arrival of the Aka Intronik multi-frequency detector will change this situation - and this detector will find more users in the world. Of course, if the Metal Detector is really powerful, it will find its place on the market. .Yes .... good network distribution and service is needed ..
  16. It would be fair to compare Vanquish on Jewerly and Equinox on Beach 1. I think it is very similar to programs .. from my observation on very deep buried coins .. the Vanquish 340 and the V10 coil are deeply close to Equinox 800 and 11 " coil and recovery speed between 3-4 and sensitivity=20 .. 1. The Vanquish /beach1 type /program is resistant to salinization of large mats - and this can greatly reduce the ID stability on conductive, ... or fertilizer-enriched terain/saline/ ... especially compared to Park2 programs, Field 2 where less stable. -and accuracy ID more sensitive from saline terrain ... 2. The Vanquish elliptical coil shape here can also play its role in ID accuracy.
  17. Today I got a shipment with Vanquish 340 ... the first impression is good, and the operation of the detector itself is very simple ..., .. The weight of the detector with batteries is 1165 grams .....V10 coil ... has a true size of 17.7cm x 25.4 cm and a weight without coil cover exactly 360 grams .. I made a short comparison of the detector range in the Jewerly program ... which is most sensitive to very small targets ../ compared to Allmetal /.. The range in Centimeters is ... good-solid signal with ID...range to 0.1gram 24K gold is 11cm..excellent result for this class/Entry level/ of detector .. A... big plus/+/..is the highly conductive silver coin giving a high ton ... Simply adjust the detector to a straight bar to get a very compact detector dimensions with a length of 60 cm, and 1100 grams weight.. This also adjusts but also shortens the maximum total length of the detector to only 105cm .. so it will be good eg for children ... or for special situations in very confined spaces .. If the possibility of swapping the rod to the longer lower rod such adjustment will also be suitable for adult people.-that's my intention ..
  18. Merci ...ALexandre... Black Sand with 51% volume of Magnetite will be a big challenge for any VLF detector ..., some detectors can work on such terrain, but I will have a very limited detection range .. I use for testing 3 compact "Black sand" boxes containing 4.4%, 12%, and 33% Magnetite .. boxes are 4 "high = it means 10cm thick Black Sand .. 12% magnetite allows still acceptable detection .. with reduced depth...33% magnetite in the Box is a strong test /"Limit" /for the VLF detector ..The signal attenuation factor through mineralization is too high... It's a place ... where the "IMPulse" Detector ...is going to have a great advantage..and will excel... ...
  19. Excellent work ALEXANDRE ... I think ... that little pack of "Black Sand" from Fuerte Ventura has at least 70%-80% magnetite.
  20. Regarding the real availability of the Vanquish detector ... I can say ... that my minelab Vanquish 340 detector was sent to me today, so European dealers are starting to send detectors from the first shipment.
  21. Jeff McCIendon..... I admit that at 340 I kind of estimated performance similar to my Teknetics G2 and your test confirms it ... what I consider to be a very good performance ... another plus at 340 will be ... a little more impact on high conductive targets .. for equally-sized reels ...7x10" Vanquish vs 7.x11" tek G2... .it would be interesting to have a small 5x8 "Vanquish coil ... against your F19 on a 5x10" coil... My Vanquish V340 is being sent to me by the vendor tomorrow, so soon I can tell you more about it .. Thank you for testing and comparing performance between the two detectors ..
  22. I did an Equinox test and an 11 "coil, I used a compact Black-sand box which contains 12% magnetite. In this test, I used several different sized test items from low-conducting items such as an open gold earring 1.15 grams .. 2cm thin gold ring weighing 0.9 grams, and a 13.5mm-0.45 grams silver hammer coin ... to a highly conductive coin US Quarter and also 4 gram silver coin 1korona FJ 1893 .. ,, I did a test on Park1 for multifrequency, recovery 6-7,iron bias F2=0, discriminacion =0, and sensitivity from 10 to 24. The Ground balance on the Black Sand was the same for the multi-frequency as well as for the individual 1f frequencies and had a GB value of 2. In another test, I have also tested Equinox on individual frequencies 5,10,15,20, a40Khz - where I have investigated how high the sensitivity is needed for a given frequency to correctly detect with IDs on various size.. and various conductive objects .. The test results are a bit of a surprise for me ... Equinox detects all objects over a 10 cm thick layer of Black Sand. on the multifrequency already at c.uz on sensitivity 12-15 .... the only exception is an open gold earring which needed a sensitivity of at least 22-23 ... and more to correctly detect... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The biggest surprise was the direct comparison of the different frequencies on the low conductive-gold target, where it showed the advantage of having 20 and 40 kzh frequencies as opposed to 5Khz or 10 khz. 2cm -0.9gram gold ring was on 1f- 40khz detectable with ID already on sensitivity 11 ... But when testing the ring at 1f-5khz ... I had to increase the sensitivity to at least 18 to 19 to get a similar good signal from .. ID..but from smaller detection window as it is at detection to 40khz .. A similar but opposite situation occurred when testing Us 25cent / quarter / ... When using 1f 5khz I got signal with ID already on sensitivity 11 .. After changing the frequency to 40 khz, I needed to increase the sensitivity to at least 17-18 to get a similar good ID signal ... but still with a smaller detection window as it is at detection to 5Khz... For a small open earrings you will need a sensitivity of 22-24 .. to detect it at 1 frequency of 40KHZ .. Other frequencies 5-20khz here do not have sufficient range ... Multifrequency detects it at sensitivity 22-23 ... At the end of the Test,... I tried to find a frequency that would have a good ID range on the high conductive Quarter .. as well as the 2cm low conductive 0.9 grams gold ring .. As optimal frequency in this test showed 1f -15khz frequency..t but needed good detection of both objects to increase sensitivity to at least 14-15 ... Yes it is a compromise for universality ..
