Rick N. MI
The battery for the coil is fully charged. I entered the coil number that's on top of the coil in slot 1. I validated it and no connection on the controller. No frequencies. I went thru the process several times and no connection. Any help with this? Thanks, Rick
Jeff McClendon
What kind of coil is it? It has to be an X35 black or white HF coil. Other coils will not connect.
Rick N. MI
It a 9" hf coil. I don't know why it's not connecting.
Jeff McClendon
The 6 digit coil ID number is alphanumeric with 0 being zero not the letter O. Other than that…….. I would just keep trying and make sure you are following the procedure in the manual. Hopefully Chase sees this. He can help you more than me. Rick N. MI
The number is 2312CC. I looked at with a magnifier to make sure I was right.
Jeff McClendon
Is that the only coil ID number in your ORX coil memory slots?
Rick N. MI
Yes. I put the coil number in slot 1, 2 & 3 are empty.
Jeff McClendon
Like I said, hopefully Chase will see this. Just make absolutely sure that the coil and remote control are fully charged. You should get a continuous white light on the HF coil when it is charging. If you don't the butterfly charging clip is not fully connecting to the coil. White light 3 seconds ON, 3 seconds OFF when charging is complete. It should take about 3 hours.
Rick N. MI
They are both fully charged and was like you said. I hope it can get connected otherwise I have send it back to the dealer. Thank you for your help, Rick
Rick N. MI
I watched a video to see if I was doing it right and I was. This is the process I did. Configuration Programs Coils Select - select slot Enter Serial Number Validate Should work and it isn't. I think I need to pack it all up and send it back. I don't see that I'm doing anything wrong.
