MSC
That is a large gold bar, I have never seen one that big, or one worth that much. COOL. Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/19002-short-jewelers-gold-melt-video/#findComment-201859 Share on other sites
GB_Amateur
Fast talker, but maybe our East Coast forum members can interpret for me. ? I think he said "12 kg at 50% pure". That would be ~$350,000 gold value at today's ($1840/ozt) price, if I did the conversion correctly. Again, maybe something got lost in translation. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/19002-short-jewelers-gold-melt-video/#findComment-201865 Share on other sites
Valens Legacy
Interesting video, I guess they had to make such a large bar for the price of rent and gas for the car. I seem to remember that these same people had another video up that was found to be stretching the truth on the amount of lost jewelry found on the streets and sewers.
