  1. And I'm starting to swat mosquitos & keep an eye out for snakes & fire ants.
  2. Thank you for the replies. Good information. Where I was getting unsure is the Anfibio's iSAT is for the motion Disc modes too. The manual speaks to Ground noise & Hot rocks but nothing about reset speed on targets. I always ran the Anfibio with the iSAT at 00. After learning the effects/applications of Recovery speed on the Legend I have been revisiting the Anfibio. iSat at 01-02 seems to help target response at depth. So I have learned something. The Legend is a deep unit largely because you can run high sensitivity & still remain stable. The Anfibio seems to have more raw power if you can crank it up to 90+ but you better be waay out in the boonies or it gets noisy. Adding a little Disc helps calm it down. The Frequency shift has never been effective. I've got a deep sand site with a thick layer of Pine needles laying on top I'm trying to conquer.
  3. I was wondering how comparable the Recovery speed adjustment is to an ISAT(Intelligent Self Adjusting Threshold) setting. As an example the Legend, Equinox 800/900, Deus/D2 have a Recovery/Reactivity adjustment. I understand it's purpose & application. The Anfibio Multi & I assume Multi Kruzer have an ISAT(IMASK on Anfibio 19) Are they basically the same? The Users Manual hints there is some difference.
  4. I think you mis read my post. The LG35 is deeper than the stock LG28 or LG30, I think the LG30 separates better & it is lighter weight. I also think the LG35 separates as good as the LG28 but not the LG30.
  5. The LG35 is a great coil. Noticeably deeper than the stock LG28 or the LG30, separates & pin points very well, stable & sensitive to very small targets. It is a little heavier but if you shorten the shaft an inch or so it is very well balanced all day long.
  6. The Tarsacci should be able to do better but I am at a loss to make any suggestions other than lower Sensitivity to 2,3 or 4 max and give Dimitar a phone call.
  7. I too would recommend going to V1.11 when you can, the M3 alone is worth it. But V1.05 was real good too.
  8. Interesting times for sure. Nokta has played a big part in changing the playing field to users benefit. Now, where is that bad dirt Relic hunting PI I am waiting for?
  9. I concur. Good basic & some advanced information applicable to using any high end detector.
  10. A very good hunt & the trash count is not bad at, especially for a public park.
  11. Not added chemical fertilizer or natural saline ground, but some clays will exhibit a conductive response if moist enough.
  12. It should be able to hit it. I would suggest giving Dimitar a call on the telephone to get his input. He is very keen to help users.
  13. You have found a good spot. Welcome from East Texas.
  14. Please let us know your impressions of it.
  15. GOD gives us the Present to deal with the Past. He is in charge of the Future, where everything comes together. Thankful for this Today..
  16. I have not dug any super deep Dimes yet with the Legend, just 8-9". In my 2 bar test bed, a 10" Dime is no problem, a 12" Dime is VERY iffy. a 12" Quarter will hit 25-40% of the scans. If you mount the LG35 it will hit them a good bit better. I feel the Legend has more usable depth than my Anfibio Multi because it is more stable & gives a clearer tone. This becomes even more noticeable as Mineralization or iron trash increases. Having the Multi frequency choices & the overall adjustability of the machine make a big difference in usable performance in changing field conditions.
  17. Thanks for the the overall summary of what you teach in your books. That would be an excellent introduction to include in any future books you publish or revise/reprint. I have enjoyed & profited from both my Anfibio & Legend books. But I did have to read them several times each for all the pieces you just posted about to come together.
  18. I was thinking that some of the newer fishing sinkers were made out of some other metal besides Lead. I know automotive wheel weights are now primarily Zinc or some sort of sintered aberration.. You can't hardly find real Lead ones anymore at the tire shops. They were the best base material for hard cast bullets.
