  1. That is a beautiful point. It almost looks to be made from Obsidian, but it is not glossy.
  2. Looks like some stove iron there. I don't know much about rocks but vines are a damned nuisance. Have fun & thanks for posting.
  3. I think you are correct. I think the Anfibio was the first joint project that combined features & characteristics of both companies approach, giving the best of both in a refined package. I wonder if the recent corporate name revision is just a formality because Makro has been fully absorbed or if it reflects a divorce of the two companies. I think it is the former. Again, what impresses me is how refined the Legend is, yet retains the high performance of it's sparky ancestors.
  4. I assume my Anfibio Multi is very similar to the Multi Kruzer. It has a raw, scratchy edge to the the audio & can easily be over driven. It has a lot of extra power that is hard to keep connected to the ground, kind of like my 1968 Big Block Camaro before I made adjustments to the suspension and learned how to drive it. Once learned it is a very good machine with a lot of nuance. The Legend is so much better behaved and you can pour on all the power in many situations. The effective performance actually surpasses the Anfibio. I kind of wish Nokta would increase the Legend's sensitivity scale to 35. Sometimes I like it on the hot edge.
  5. Good hunt Sir. Do you have one of your 6 Tone bins set to catch most of the pulltabs? Have you found this better than using some select Notching?
  6. We men would be better served to not assume women know what we think we know!
  7. My wife says it is the wheel of a pastry cutter. She immediately looked it up on Rubylane.com. 1880s English brass pastry cutter. It looks exact. She’s good on IDs.
  8. Could your wavy “coin” be a rowel off a spur?
  9. If you sense a problem with an update, just Factory reset and re install it. Then do another Factory reset to settle it into the detector.
  10. Sounds like my kind of an adventure. Good hunting & please report back.
  11. Glad you called attention to this aspect. We don't hear much on this. There is one You Tube channel I watch a bit of from the UK that is mainly saltwater beach detecting with the Legend. It seems to perform well. I know the Beach modes run well on conductive Inland sites as an alternative to M3.
  12. That’s a lot of keeper coins. Glad y’all got out and had some fun.
  13. That's a lot of targets. Quite a few decent finds & some pretty glass too. A good hunt & you learned some more.
  14. Welcome from East Texas. Enjoy learning the hobby & traveling around this beautiful country.
  15. A very special find for sure. Can you trace it back to a past owner of the property?
  16. What level of bC reject did you settle on?
  17. Glad you are getting back out. It is a great way to spend some quality time.
